Staff were extremely friendly and when we asked about car hire, they searched the internet for us and printed off information on local carhire companies. Location was great, hotel was very quiet but easy walking to town for nightlife and restaurants if you wanted. Beach was a stroll away. The decor is very 70's, but for us that added to the charm. We want to bring the lift home!!! Its a hoot!. The staff were all very helpful and willing to please.staff very friendly. Staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to park at hotel until our conference finished.staff friendly and helpfull, large room, close to the center and the beach. Excellent food, convenient location, friendly staff, ample free parking. Extensive breakfast menu. The Woodcroft is user friendly, for everyone, it is comfortable. 24Hrreception means you can come and go. It was very peaceful, handy fortown and beach.Cooked breakfast is superb. It is not modern - but thatis it's charm. We would return.Comfortable bed, Nice selection for breakfast, airy and light room, gooden suite facilities and only a short walk from Bournemouth attractions. The noise from the next hotel patio but thats not Woodcroft's fault a fan in the room so you do not have to open the window would help(globel moments that time of life). The shower in my room wasn't working very well. A little tired looking - but very clean. interior a bit dated. creaky floorboards, rooms could do with fresh coat of paint. Only 4 tv channels, felt like the 1980's again ;-). The rooms need to have a facility to turn radiators off - I had to have all the windows open all night because the room was far too warm - this was a waste of money on behalf of the hotel.tv had poor reception. It was difficult to find from Gervis road. There are no indication close to the street.Showers-mounted too low, low pressure and either very hot or very cold. Very noisy on sat night wedding on. shower. There was a wedding on the Friday of our stay and we could not use the hotel facilities (the large hall and even the bar) as these were being used by the wedding guests.Staff very friendly, although I reported 2 light bulbs had blown and these were not replaced within my 4 night stay. Also the window in our room was faulty and would not open. shower was not clean. The rooms were filthy, heavily stained carpets and walls.
