Blackpool Family Friendly Rooms Hotels

I really, really don't want to tell people what a gem The Fylde is because then all and sundry will be clamouring for rooms, and my chances of securing one when I want will be slim. Soon this place will be like The Ivy or something, where you have to book 6 months in advance or you don't stand a chance. I had the great pleasure of staying in the Luxury room, and was chuffed to bits with it. we travelled from essex to blackpool on a dismal rainy day and was really tired when we arrived, we was greeted by Rhona and Simon who made us feel very welcome . julie and i went to the bar and had a few drinks whilst we waited for the fireworks display that was taking place on the promenade,the bar prices were excellent and the atmosphere was superb.when we returned from the fireworks we ate at the hotel and i chose the gammon steak which was reccomended by simon and i can say with all honest - David

From the moment we arrived Derek and Rhiannon were so welcoming. The room were good - family room with seperate sleeping area for kids was great. Beds very comfortable and everything very clean. Shower not powerful but hey, the reast made up for it. Really recommend this hotel to everyone. - Caroline

A friend and I spent a very enjoyable week here in September 2009. From the moment we arrived to be met outside by Pat and Lynn, and our cases unloaded from the car for us, we were made to feel welcome and so at home. The hotel is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean everywhere, it has a really fresh feeling. Pat and Lynn are delightful hosts, they really do go the extra mile to be helpful and welcoming, and their son Daniel is a lovely boy and always very polite. The breakfast is served i - Antony

we booked this bb based on the reviews we read on trip adviser and we are glad we did. rooms were clean and tidy and up to date with ensuite(nice powerful shower) beds were better than ours at home, in our room we had flat screen tv with freeview. the dinning room was clean tidy and well presented, breakfast was cereal as much toast as you wanted and a full english brekfast, allan was friendly very helpful and made us feel welcome. we also got to park our car on the premises.in a quiet location - Renata

I would definately recomend this hotel to anyone. Its in a nice quiet location, with ample free parking nearby and its only 2 minutes walk away from the Queens promeade with regular buses and trams. The breakfast is excellent and you can choose what you want on it (you have can have the full choice if you want which offers everything you might find on an English Breakfast). The room was a little smaller than we are used to but very cosy and tasteful and immaculate. Not a speck of dirt to be foun - Stephen

I have been to Blackpool quite a few times.....but the other places i've stayed in don't even come close to the Wilton Hotel. Infact i don't think i have ever stayed anywhere so friendly and comfortable. The room was lovely and cosy.....there was plenty of room, and the hotel was very clean and welcoming, Lovely lounge and dining room. Really felt like you could just go into the lounge and relax anytime you liked. Went into the bar a few times, nice and quiet to sit and have a few drinks in. Th - Philip

Just returned from a weekend break to blackpool,Booked hotel online,was not too sure how it would be,but we need not have worried. The hotel was excellent, couldn't find fault with anything,the place is immaculate and the breakfast are out of this world everything from fresh fruit, yoghurts & juices then all the cereals you could ask for theres even a choice of cooked breakfast from full english,smoked salmon,omlettes...just amazing Proprioters are very welcoming and friendly,nothing is t - John

Perfect location between two tram stops, just beside the Pleasure Beach yet quiet and near the seafront. Graham and his lovely staff provide great service, a friendly welcome, clean comfortable rooms and a welcoming bar area to relax at night. Board games are provided in the bar and there is a seperate coffee lounge for guests. Breakfast is well varied from cereals,fruit juices,cheese and crackers to a huge cooked breakfast that is tailored to each individual, with unlimited toast-you can have a - Cliff

We stayed at this hotel on 12 august 06 for my hen night.We found loretta and shaun so friendly and very helpful.We had a family room and it was spotless,breakfast was spot on too,we are planning to come back next year! - Stuart

What a fantastic place with even better hosts! We were there in August for the Punk festival which also coincided with our wedding. The hosts arranged taxi's and even organised a hairdresser for me on the day. They couldn't do enough for us, the food was excellent, the rooms were spotlessly clean and the overall decor was clean and very modern. (they can re-design my house anyday!) We arrived in Blackpool with nowhere to stay and were looking for a hotel that looked "not too shabby"!! After looking at a few we "didn't fancy", we discovered the Barton and it exceeded our expectations by a mile! B&Bs in Blackpool can be quite old-fashioned but this one has a nice modern bar, with wooden floors and modern Jack Vettriano prints. We paid £40 for a double room - great value. Four of us went to blackpool for a couple of days for the darts and booked into the aindale, all i can say is absolutely superb, From the minute we arrived Paul was friendly and most helpful with directions, and which places to go or avoid. Also it is in a very good location, not too close or far away to the nightlife, tower etc! The rooms are decorated to a very high standard, all very modern clean and comfortable, and for me it was too cheap for the service we got 5* (don't put it up though pa - Argyri

A highly enjoyable stay was had at this fresh and clean hotel. The owners and their daughter were friendly and they really looked after us. The rooms are light and well cared for, and spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfortable - best couple of night's sleep i've had in ages! And finally...
