Blackpool 2* star Hotels

After seeing so many bad reviews about this hotel, I would like to say that a group of 12 of us stayed at this hotel this weekend from the 23rd to the 26th october 2009. For a 2 star hotel this hotel offers excellent value for money, the rooms were very clean, the maids were always happy and cheerful and cleaned the room and changed towels every day. Arrived late after epic drive, only to find car parking a nightmare, ended up in front of the entrance abandoned! Staff very friendly, food in restaurant not as warm as I'd have liked, but we were very late and the kitchen was about to close. It tasted okay though, can't complain. The room itself was great, clean, tidy, fresh looking, can't fault it. Shower superb! The only drawback I could see regards the room, was that the walls were paper thin, and a lack of courtesy from other guests being n - Simon

10 of us stayed for 2 nights rooms a couple were on the small side however we did not spend alot of time in them, they could be rather hot but staff explained that it was due to the hot water pipes running under the floor which they were unable to do anything about advantage to this was that we were never short of hot water which can be an issue in some hotels - food was excellent, plently of choice and we highly recommend the lamb clear plates all round - staff very friendly and certainly made - Peter

Just got back this morning after spending five days and it has been lovely, The rooms are spotless, food excellent and the staff are lovely. entertainment wise you can't fault it. We really enjoyed Buddy Lee and all the comedians especially Nicky Newson with his good northern humour. He had me in hysterics! We've stayed at this hotel many times and each time we are not disapointed. All in all we've enjoyed a really good break - Derek

A great hotel & Mr. Wong the owner is great & helpful. the rooms are clean & tidy. Great value for money a large group of us have stayed her now for the last 4 times. We would'nt go anywhere else & the breakfast is beaut!!!! - Derek

Perfect location between two tram stops, just beside the Pleasure Beach yet quiet and near the seafront. Graham and his lovely staff provide great service, a friendly welcome, clean comfortable rooms and a welcoming bar area to relax at night. Board games are provided in the bar and there is a seperate coffee lounge for guests. Breakfast is well varied from cereals,fruit juices,cheese and crackers to a huge cooked breakfast that is tailored to each individual, with unlimited toast-you can have a - Cliff

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for one night. The room was very clean with a nice en-suite bathroom with a decent sized shower. The breakfast was very good and even better than the one we got in the Hilton in Dublin the following morning. We spoke to the owner on numerous occasions and he was always helpful and giving us tips on bars to go to and other places to visit. Booked for the weekend and had a fantastic time. food was excellent, as was the entertainment, the rooms were clean and comfortable and well decorated, as was the whole hotel!! booked again for a week in the summer and probably will rebook for over xmas.this hotel has recently been refurbished and all the staff were extremely helpful and willing to do anything they could to help. i recommend that anyone looking to stay in blackpool go to the park house hotel. this hotel has a sister hotel too wh - Euryl
