  17th July 2011 visited this Hotel for a birthday meal and what a brilliant choice we made. The staff were brilliant; they were attentive yet made you feel relaxed. The dining room was lovely and clean which overlooked the lovely small hotel garden. The pianist was a brilliant touch and he played beautifully! Thankyou Clarendom for making my birthday a day to remember. - This hotel was close to 02 arena where we were attending concert and was very accessible by bus/taxi. Staff were very friendly and helpful checking in and out. Room was clean, warm, and well decorated with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of choice and it was well presented. Excellent value for money and I will definitely stay there again.

Would def. recommend this hotel, we will be back. - We chose the hotel because it was well situated for our needs. We have stayed in a number of hotels in Greenwich as we have family there. This was easily the best hotel we have stayed in in that area. Staff were very helpful and pleasant, our rooms were clean, comfortable and well furnished and the breakfast menu was good.

  I liked the friendliness of the staff who did go that extra to help out. The bar food was reasonably priced for London and of good quality. The half price first drink was extremely welcomed after a long day. Free wifi good. Breakfast adequate. Lots of seating in the lounge area. Overall, as hostels go - fabulous experience. - staff very nice

  The welcome was lovely when we arrived and everything clearly explained. The room was fine, the bed comfortable and the bathroom facilities good. There were tea and coffee making facilities, but we had to ask for more tea bags and milks as only two were provided. It is very centrally situated and easy to reach by both bus and train. The staff were happy to look aft - Excellent location for the O2 and also for quick and easy access to the city of London and London Eye, an excellent 'city' location with the feel of not being in the city. Wonderful restaurants and pubs in easy walking distance. On a good day it is highly recommended to take a river cruise to Westminster using the 24 hour Red rover ticket which allows unlimited 'hop on and off' travel.   I'm a 25 year old woman travelling with my 70 year old father: Despite reading a review that the traffic outside was noisy, I thought the windows' soundproofing in our room was brilliant! I could hardly hear a thing, and normally I can't sleep with any noise at all. Beds were SO comfy. Sink and kettle in the room. 10 minute bus ride from the 02. (... what people say » £2.40 each way.) Bus stop right outside hotel, and coming home quick and easy. Queue for the underground was GIGANTIC but we sailed right past them an - I Stayed here for a night while seeing a concert at the 02. It's so easy to find and is just a 30 second walk from Charlton train station, you can't miss it.There is also a bus stop just outside with buses running to and from the 02 every 10 mins for just £2.40. The room itself was basic, but had all you need for the night. I stayed in a single and the bed was comfy, it had a tv and tea/coffee making facilities. It was very clean and all you need really.
