Birmingham Gay Friendly Hotels

I stayed here for 2 nights in Septemeber and really enjoyed it, the room was small but had everything I needed and was very comfy, and the decor was light and fresh. I was impressed to note that if you weren't happy with your pillow that reception had an extensive list of pillows with various fillings available to choose from. I thought that having an iMac in the room was an exellant touch and helped us make the most of our stay. Rooms seemed well sound proofed as we didn't hear any outside no - Shelley

These apartments are fantastic! I was a bit worried that it might have been style over use, but it certainly wasn't! The apartment was fantastic, spotless, comfortable, luxurious. Everything I have experienced at the top end hotels, and so much more besides. I do not think I will go The staff were excellent and friendly. spoke to a couple of other guests in then lifts and they seemed to be as impressed as me. My partner and I stayed in this hotel for 1 night. All i say is that we found everything at this hotel to be perfect. Reception/Check in was easy. Our room was on the 14th floor with amazing views - the room was spotlessly clean, including huge bed + bathroom. We had a flat screen TV, iron, safe and Tea making facilities. Checking was also just as easy and the staff were extremely helpful. I cannot understand why anybody would stay anywhere else in Birmingham! Perfect!! :-) - James

The hotel is well positioned in the middle of the city, less than 5 minutes walk from New Street Station and the Bullring. The rooms in the hotel were nice with flat screen TV's and plenty space, my room was at the back of hotel which looked onto a large multi storey car park, on the Saturday night there was quite a lot of noise from people waiting to pay at the parking station. Overall given the price paid (£90 for two nights) and the location I would recommend this hotel. - Karl

Service from arrival, through room service, breakfast and departure was first class. The room was very clean and comfortable with all the facilities you could want. the room service menu was great and the 4 course platter was excellent. - John

A friend and I stayed at the Marriott Hotel in Birmingham and to start with I was unsure whether I had made the right choice after reading some of the reviews. From the outside the building looks dated and we were a bit unsure what to expect when we got inside. We were amazed once we entered the hotel, it was incredible!! The hotel is absolutely beautiful! From arrival the hotel was excellent, reception was bright and clean and the staff were attentive and friendly, the bedrooms were large, modern and airy, and the shower wet rooms were also sizeable. The hotel is brand new so it did take a moment to work out where the parking was but this was a such a minor detail that it hardly rates at all. The follow up email was very prompt asking for feedback, and the only down side was the cost of internet access, but I received an email within 24 hours e - Isaac

I attended a birthday part where over 40 people were served a meal that could not be faulted. It was piping hot, delicious and served by very friendly staff who couldn't do enough for everyone in the party. We were not rushed to finish our meal, time was given between courses and we were not rushed from the room when the function finished. When we went down to the lounge at 1.00am we were met with friendly staff who were happy to serve us coffee till the early hours. On retiring to our room we f - Christopher

We had a studio apartment at City Quarters at Burne Jones House for a one night stopover in Birmingham. Apartment was very nice - large, clean, well furnished and good value. Location was excellent for the city centre and for access to the New Street railway station. The apartments do not have reception staff, but the code entry system to get keys worked fine. We arrived early before the room was ready and we were able to leave suitcases with the caretaker. All in all, a nice overnight stay in B - Thomas

We booked into the hotel for a two night package with some friends. The package included an evening meal. We were up in Birmingham for the Twenty 20 finals day at Edgbaston on 15th August and we stayed Friday and Saturday night. We had our meal on the Friday night. We read the reviews and were expecting the worst but we were very pleasantly surprised. My wife and I stayed with our 6 month old son for 1 night, the hotel is very well located if you are going to Birmingham. We found the staff very helpful and thought the food was very good, the room was a good size leaving us enough room even with the travel cot set up. We would stay here again - Mohamed
