I stayed in the queens room, which I got on letsbookhotel.com at a cheap rate ( just like the ad, ha ha but true) . With the queens room the continental breakfast was free, fresh and in the executive room. Which was calm cool and quiet. I hear the full cooked breakfast was £25 pounds, but I was happy with the range of fresh bread , ham on the bone, cheese, and all the bits you would expect.

  Booked at short notice, based on reviews on this site. Just returned home. Having stayed we can say that the reviews were spot-on! The hotel is stylish, very clean, the rooms are huge and very comfortable. The bathroom is large. Fluffy towels. Room nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet was was good. (Hot items as well as croissants, yoghurt, fru... what people say » it, etc.) The hotel is peaceful.The staff were nice. It is a short trip outside the city but it is opposite "Star City", which is a good leisure facil - We had a twin room on the 3rd floor, it was very spacious, the beds were comfortable with a choice of pillows which was a nice touch. The towels were a good size and quality and the soap/shampoo(etc) dispensers in the bathroom were again a brilliant touch. The coffee machine in the lobby was brilliant and gave nice strong hot coffee. The staff were also cheerful and helpful. The hotel was a 5 min walk from the theatre, and 10 mins away from town centre, which was very handy.
