The real question is what didnt i like? There was absolutly nothing i could say the hotel lacked. It was by far the best hotel i have ever stayed in. Easy to find and access. Very clean and comfortable. Very central for a night out.clean comfortable. the apartment was within easy reach of the train station and clean and warm, althogh never used the facility of a dishwasher well equipt and lovely clean and fluffy towels.

We were close to everything we wanted and the apartments were clean and spacious.the apartment was much bigger than expected :). City centre location. Spacious apartment.comfortable. the location of the hotel was very good and the staff were very helpful at all times . i will be back. Good price. Good accomodation. Wifi. Quiet, clean comfortable rooms. good facilities, central location. met every requirement, clean and have your own small kitchen. Self catering facilities. location, proximity to NIA and centre.The location. A CD player would be a bonus!. a little noisy in the evening but i suppose this could be expected when on a main road maybe secondary double glazing could help. They were extremely hot and we were unable to open the windows due to the proximity to traffic perhaps air conditioning would be a ideal upgrade?. the oven didn't work, which was annoying. and i did not recieve the email telling me i had to check in somewhere completely different to the actual apartment block i was staying in. there were no staff in the actually block for if we needed any assistance with anything, eg.when the oven didn't work. No hairdryer, only couple of towels, early checkout by 1030am.the heating in the living room was very poor . had to ask for another heater. Noisy area on a Saturday night. Couldn't open the window even though it was hot as there was too much noise from drunken revellers nearby.Area surrounding the apartments a little disquieting for singletraveller. Reservation was on Sunday, there was no staff. A pincode was given in an e-mail with reservation; however, upon arrival we found out the pincode was not working and we could not get into the hotel. We tried to ring the number given in the reservation; however the reply was that the office was already closed. After half an hour waiting outside, we were able to get inside the hotel, but by luck. the room is sooooo noisy. My room was on 1st floor and faced the road. The noises from the road kept me awake all night. Check in/out service. Could not get access to the property upon arrival. The PIN to access did not work and "luckily" somebody was on hand to assist but did highlight that there should not have been. After given a second code this was also successful and wasn't resolved throughout the stay. Upon check I asked for our bags to be stored and it took nearly 30 minutes to get hold of somebody to do.New bkinds please, existing ones let in all the morning sun. Better explanation as to how to use key fob and it needs air con.

Please note that a security deposit of GBP 150 will be charged in advance for all weekend stays and may be charged for 1 and 2 night stays during the week. Bookings will not be confirmed until full payment and deposit has been taken. Once payment has been received guests will receive a 4-digit pin code for access to the building. We operate a strict no party and no smoking policy. During the weekends only guests over the age of 25 can be accommodated. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform Our City Apartments at Shaftesbury House in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. A damage deposit of GBP 150 is required when you book. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
