Everything! We had a fabulous welcome. We arrived early, and even though they were busy with breakfasts for other guests, we were given a pot of tea to welcome us and were allowed to check in straight away. The accommodation was perfect: clean, cosy and self-contained, with a lovely garden and a quiet, picturesque location. The service was second-to-none, and nothing was too much trouble. Enjoyed our stay there had a delicious breakfast and were even offered a packed lunch to take with us for our return flight. It's a homely environment with clean rooms. Suggest the place to whoever wish to stay in a quiet yet homely envirinment :). Thought the fact of staying in a room seperate to the main house in what I describe as a pod was excellent and also gave a sense of privacy too. The owner took us to our concert and picked us up again from the venue which was much appreciated. Breakfast was excellent too. Would defiantly go back again and would recommend to anyone to stay here. Had a great time at the Redlands guesthouse the owners were very friendly and cooked a fantastic breakfast in the morning. The rooms were clean and had everything you wanted/needed. Very helpful for directions and places to go for dinner (the boat was a fantastic with a delicious meal). The rooms were warm comfortable and well equipped, the owners were very friendly, the breakfast was a monster breakfast that kept us going all day, we had a free taxi service to and from the station to go shopping, also a free taxi ride to the Lg Arena and a free return back at 11.00pm. Everything was excellent from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and felt like a big friendly family. Breakfast huge and lasted me the whole day - fabulous choice too! Phil took us and fetched us back from the night time show at the nec very kind man :). The main house looks a little vacant but go through the gate and you will be pleasantly surprised. Lovely garden with holiday lodges built around the edge. It is ideally located for the NEC Pam, Burton-on-Trent. The bed was really comfy and we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was amazing and the lift to and from the LG arena was really helpful. Great value for money and we would definitely stay here again. Ideal location for concert at the LG Arena and easily accessible from M42. Free taxi shuttle service an added bonus and probably saved hours on the return journey. Lovely couple as hosts. Trying to find the guest house was a little difficult, you really have to look hard for the name on the gate post. Breakfast is only served between 8 and 8.30 which is restrictive especially at weekends when you've had a late night out. Airplane noise during day but thankfully no night flights so not a problem for us. Shower area in minor places needs treating with an anti mould spray;very minor. Car drive to get evening meal but this was no big hardship as it was a wonderful pub just had to have soft drink rather than wine with food. nothing to complain about !. Nothing. Nothing not to like :-). Nothing. Shower didn't work v well. The bed could have been softer. Wildlife early in the morning scrabbling over the roof. nothing.
