    The location was excellent with the staff very friendly and helpful. The taxi tours outside the hotel were also excellent - clenleyness and the helpful staff,plus the location,just round the corner from the bus station and shoping centres.

    Very friendly staff at reception, made us feel very welcome, in fact we this was a common thing we found in Belfast. Had a meal in RGB restaurant and it was excellent. Staff here did great work despite being very busy and perhaps a little understaffed. Breakfast next morning was buffet and was excellent. Bed was high and very comfy, didn't have a problem with the pillows as stated in the previous comments. The shower was amazing and the bathroom was huge for a 3star!     This is a lovely hotel, well situated for a good night out, yet in a quiet area. Any staff we encountered were friendly and polite. We first stayed here on a Groupon deal and didn't hesitate to return when we wanted a wee overnight treat for our 31st wedding anniversary. Breakfast as part of the deal was lovely. From we arrived until we departed the staff were polite and friendly making sure that we were satisfied with everything.     We were out most of the time, however when we had a query, the staff were more than happy to help. The purpose of this trip was that my son is going to work in the USA and so we needed to get a visa from the American Consulate which is close by so that is why we chose the hotel which is good for location.     I arrived early and we were able to check in early at short notice, I also liked the fact that breakfast was served until 11:30 and check out wasn't until 12:00, it meant we weren't rushing around in the morning. - The room was large enough for a family of four (in two double beds), was clean and quiet.     My stay at the Ibis in Belfast coincided with the shocking weather the city experienced on 22nd March 2013. This day was my checkout and seeing what was happening with the weather I asked the receptionist to hold my room which they could do until 6pm. I thought by then I would have an idea if flights from the City Airport.would be operating, as it... what people say » turned out it was until almost 8pm when we knew what was happening. They kept my reservation open for me to get back and check in for the extra night - hotel staff were very helpful , we had a young baby with us and they gave us a travel cot in the room for her . The hotel is very close to the centre of town with plenty of bars and restaurants close by . There's a bar restaurant across the road and the food was very good and reasonable and the staff were lovely .I'd have no hesitation in recommending the Ibis hotel , we stayed there before and will again .

    I stayed at the ibis for 5 nights last week and I couldn't fault a thing about the the place. The staff are very friendly and will do anything to help you. I did not eat in the hotel so I can't comment on the food but there are lots of lovely places to eat nearby. The location is brilliant, in the heart of the queens quarter and not far from the ... what people say » city centre. I was impressed with the size of the room and it was very comfortable. Overall, a great stay and I will definitely be back! - Everything about this hotel was amazing for the price. It's not a luxury hotel in the absolute sense, but it certainly felt like one for the amount they charged. Definitely my favorite hotel of my trip. Customer service was on point. Their location is about a 15 minute walk to and from the train station. If I'm ever in Belfast again, this will be my first choice.

    Kevin, the owner, and his wife were wonderful. Kevin, with his Irish accent, gave us a great tour of Belfast as he drove us to the BnB. Made us know we were in Ireland! Our family of 4 had an ensuite room. Beds were comfy, bathroom adequate, quiet location; breakfast was served by the Mrs.--a good English breakfast. Location is about a 20-25 minute walk to the center of town, but we enjoyed the walk. - The Bed & Breakfast is located close to walking distance to the city. Kevin and June the owners are friendly. Kevin is helpful with organizing tours and knowledgeable of the local area and city. They provide comfortable, clean premises and a great Irish breakfast menu.

    It is very close to QUB so was quite convenient, as I was attending a conference there. It's proximity to Botanic Station and the variety of restaurants in the area were a definite plus.     We decided to book the beechlawn for an overnight stay after a night at the dog track. I have to say My wife and I were impressed as it was not like the chain hotels (go in the lift out into a corridor and your room was on the right) No the hotel had a bit of charm and space a lovely seated area outside the room and good space in the room to relax... what people say » and it was quiet. Breakfast was good. Everything in the room worked and was clean and tidy. We will be back again. - Excellent staff with a great sense of humour dealt with my various requests with great friendliness. Excellent food when i ate in. Breakfasts brilliant. Overall very stress free for a business trip. A great place to relax after a hard day. A great pleasure to experience marvellous customer service with a genuine smile.

The rooms were clean, and comfortable. Although the hotel is a bit out of the way from Belfast city centre, there are lots of restaurants and bars in the surrounding area if you don't mind a wee walk and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel entrance (although no Sunday service, unfortunately). The Balmoral is good value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

    Really liked this hotel, room very comfortable, great breakfast, hotel also has a bar offering very good meals and also a restaurant for a la carte dining. There is also a very good bus service to the centre of town a couple of doors away on the same side of the street. Would definitely stay again. - Everything about this hotel suited my stay and I will definitely be returning. The bar was great, will live music. It was located not far from the city centre, so we drove in to do some Christmas shopping (which was out main purpose of this trip). Food was really nice, couldn't fault this hotel at all.     Very friendly staff from Kelly the receptionist at arrival, breakfast staff and bar staff. Only downside was parking facilities, although having stayed before we were aware of this. - The decor was beautiful, the location brilliant, and the breakfast was delicious.
