Belfast Hotels

We stayed here for 2 nights recently to do some shopping. The hotel is very central and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were basic but clean,bright, comfortable and plenty of space. The shower was great. The carpark is well lit and we could see it from the window. We dined here the two nights as the food was excellent. The dining area is adjacent and open to the bar and lobby so prob not the best if you want a quiet meal with atmosphere.The area at the side of the Hotel could - Gavin

I arrived late but they kept room for me after my telephone call ahead. A Great Irish welcome! The Reception staff were very friendly and nothing seemed like a problem to the guys & girls here. The bedroom and bathroom were modern, tidy and clean! Flat screen TV (but internet access only in foyer), Tea, coffee making facilities were fine. The shower/bath was very good. Usual mix of toiletries etc. Breakfast the next morning was a buffet affair but the quality and presentation was 1st rat - Ian

Myself and my two friends booked a room at this hotel to stay over the Halloween weekend. We booked online through their website and got an excellent rate. Just next to the bus station and two minutes walk from city hall, couldn't get a better location. We arrived early, but they were happy to check us in and look after our bags so we could go out and do some shopping until our rooms were ready. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful - even dressed up in the Halloween spirt - loved it. - David

We came to Belfast for a concert and stayed a weekend at the Park Inn. The hotel is only a year old, and absolutely immaculate. It's a short walk to the main attractions, bars and restaurants. Don't miss Dean's Deli and Dean's Seafood Restaurant nearby. Our room was pretty spacious, very colourful and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was extremely modern and spotless. We didn't try the retaurant as it seemed too dark, but both it and the bar seemed very popular with locals. Staff was h - John

I first stayed at this hotel shortly after it opened and I was pleasantly surprised to notice it was as fresh now as when I last stayed. The room was spacious ( a standard room as only standard rooms are smoking rooms). Mini bar was ok but no spirits if that is your tipple. Not mine so..The bed was very comfortable. A bath and a shower over. The water was not warm enough for the bath. Room service was promptly delivered and the food was warm and tasty if not outstanding. Bread was miniscul e - Sheryl

We stayed here for five nights this month, our opinion is mixed. The hotel is very tired and dated, decorated by a graduate from the Ballamory School of Interior design. The rooms and public areas are shabby, duvets and towels too small, breakfast very average. However the staff were absolutely lovely. Our welcome was very warm and the staff continued to treat us brilliantly throughout our stay. The location is also excellent - a short walk to the city centre and an even shorter walk to the r - Allan

We had are wedding reception here and ourselves and many guests stayed overnight. We had a great day. The staff were so helpful and kept us informed about what was happening and any changes we had were dealt with quickly and fuss free. The service was out of this world. All staff members were polite, smartly dressed and approachable. The food was excellent and all are guests seemed to enjoy it. Any dietary needs were easily catered for. We chose this Ramada based on its location to the City Center. The hotel opened in April of this year, so everything is fresh & new. The lobby area, bar & restaurant are all on the ground floor and have a very modern look and feels very upbeat. We stayed on the 5th floor in the room right above the Encore sign that has all of the curved windows. Needless to say we had a great view. The room had a wood laminate floor which was very attractive. Bed was comfortable and lighting was good. Ba - Thomas

Spend one night in the Hilton while I was in Belfast for the Michael McIntyre show at the Odyssey. Check-In was friendly and comfortable and I never felt out of place like you do in some 5 star hotels. We were on the first floor in room 116. While it didn't have the greatest view (facing towards The Waterfront) it was stylish and very comfortable. Highlights of the room were a fully stocked minibar, widescreen television, aircon and a very comfortable bed. Spend a few hours in the hotel bar - Malcolm

We had a great one night stay at the Tara Lodge which was very much on the idea of a Boutique Hotel. The extremely clean rooms were good size with plenty of space. Staff was both friendly and informative from the moment we checked in. Very nice diningroom and good breakfast selections not to mention the Dutch coffee! Tara Lodge is located within walking distance to downtown Belfast restaurants and pubs! Will look forward to coming back to Tara Lodge. - Jessica

The Europa Hotel in Belfast is a top class hotel in one of the best locations in the city. It is comfortable, friendly, very accessible from motorway. Good breakfast, comfortable rooms (especially the executive rooms), excellent food and reasonable prices make this hotel one of my favourites. I keep going back every year and the one time I changed hotels and went to the Hilton I was very disappointed. Front Office Staff can be sullen at times but do not be afraid to complain! Belfast has come on leaps and bounds. Holiday Inn was superb in most respects; clean ,tidy good location and excellent food.Breakfasts were just fantastic. Rooms were clean,maids were round everyday, clean towels etc. daily.Couldn`t fault the Staff....they were superb and nothing was too much trouble.The only fault was the drinks . 3 drinks.....(ok doubles with mixer) .....came to £33 +. Apart from that......brilliant and worth the stay and a mention in despatches......... - James

I stay in hotels all the time. I have been coming to the Stormont for more than 20 years and it id by far the best hotel in The Province. the service and the showers and well.....EVERYTHING is first class. don't stay anywhere else.. This place cannot be beaten. - Katie

Dukes is in a perfect location for visiting Belfast, near to the University, lovely places to eat and a quick stroll to most of what Belfast City has to offer. The rooms were very comfortable - large, comfy bed, good linen, excellent bath and shower, spotlessly clean. However, it was the staff that quite simply shone! They have raised the bar in hotel hospitality - warm smiles, genuinely interested in their guests and nothing seems to be too much trouble. Well done! Just a small point. - Roger
