What people say
I booked into the twin room and it was clean and comfortable and a lot larger than I expected. It has all the usual amenities such as tea making facilities, television; the internet access is free and a lot better than I have experienced in many of the higher end hotel chains. I particular thought the complementary sherry and sweets was a nice touch. There is a sofa to watch television although the magnificent picturesque view from the room surpasses anything you can watch. The beds are lar. all reviews »
Everything. This has to be the most well appointed B&B we have ever stayed at. Janice was welcoming and friendly and has done an amazing job. Our room was beautiful and there were lots of special touches (like the complimentary sherry and sweets in crystal). Breakfast was fabulous, a huge selection (including haggis) and served in a beautiful breakfast room with beautiful china and crystal. The location is wonderful too, opposite Loch Long and very quiet. Plenty of good parking on sit.
We unfortunately only stayed one night on our way up to the Summer Isles but what a delightful host and B&B. Janice, the host, made us feel very welcome and had very thoughtfully reserved us a table at the pub next door which was excellent. The complimentary sherry and chocolates were a nice touch. Excellent full Scottish breakfast and lovely, spacious double bedroom, we certainly plan to return. Thank you very much Janice!!.
Lochside. Lovely location Beautiful room with great view, very good power shower & everything there you might have forgotten. Welcomed with small decanter of sherry to enjoy while relaxing on settee in room. Very good meal at adjacent Inn booked in advance by our hostess. A very relaxing peaceful& spotless B&B which we`ve already recommended. Thank you.
The location was brilliant overlooking the loch. The room was comfortable everything you wanted was in that room. Janice was very welcoming and helpful. It was one of the best breakfast I had.
It was a very easy walk to the Pub/Restaurant. If in that area again will definately stay there.
Friendliness of the hostess. Breakfast was lovely. There was a lot of
thought of what the need would be for the customer. Little things like,
supplying shavers, q tips, cotton balls, etc. The picture on the
internet of the room was exactly like the room we stayed in.
Janice is a friendly lovely lady. she made us very welcome. Her B&B is the very best equivalent to a luxury hotel. Breakfast - you are spoilt for choice... and it overlooks the lake. What more could you want?.
I can't think of a single thing not provided in this B&B. Wonderfully appointed with enormous attention to detail. Breakfast is "historic" with fab haggis and black pudding plus a wide range of other choices.
Janice was a very warm and attentive hostess with great recommendations for local fare and activities. The rooms are so well appointed, breakfast was amazing with so many beautiful and memorable touches.
The room was a good size and had everything necessary for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was delicious with attention to detail in every respect. we were made to feel very welcome and at home.
Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Beautiful room with a luxurious feel to it. Lovely en-suite bathroom and an excellent breakfast in the morning. Wonderful location on the shore of the loch!.
Janice was welcoming and friendly. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was superb and very filling. We didn't eat again until dinner in the evening.
Never stayed in a place with so many extras as all part of the service. A very friendly and great value for money accommodation in a beautiful location. Brilliant!.
We liked all the little touches: sherry, sweets, DVDs, CDs etc. The breakfasts were fab too.
The pub next door was very handy with great food.
Janice thought of everything. There was plenty of extras. My husband and I and my daughter and fiance really enjoyed staying there.
Very helpful! The view was great and a restaurant was right next door!.
Friendly and welcoming, well located and in a lovely setting.

Everything was perfect, we just weren't quick enough to book extra time.
The beds were not that comfy despite the good quality linen.
