Brilliant staff - consumate professionals and very friendly; they could not have been more helpful despite the ungodly hour at which we arrived. I can honestly say that this was my best hotel experience ever! And I have traveled extensively in Asia and Europe. I stayed at the Double Tree at the Newcastle Airport because I had an early flight the next morning. My kids and I enjoyed an excellent meal at the restaurant before they headed back home to Durham. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. The room was perfect.

On our outgoing night we had a very poor nights sleep due to noisy neighbours but the staff were very sympathetic and refunded the cost of our stay. Incoming we had an excellent nights sleep and lovely breakfast, again the staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. Thank you all -
