Hotel clean, well-maintained, staff very nice. Swimming pool facilities excellent. The indoor pool and steam room, after the travelling a very good relaxation. on site facilities, ie bar restraunt fitness centre. It was clean and well kept.I could get a smoking room. Everything was great and enjoyable. Smoking room. work. Excellent range of facilities (bar, restaurant,24hr room service), smoking rooms available. Convenient distance from airport and town. Friendly and efficient staff - this was about the only hotel that had space for my last minute overnight stay and was at a very competitive rate for the area, I'd definitely stay again if I return to Aberdeen. We only needed a place to sleep for the night before flying out the next day. we found the staff very helpful and lets face it for 40 pounds for the night the room was great. Room service meals were not too bad either. the location was good only 8 pound for a taxi to the airport.When checking out the receptionist didnt know how to get an invoice off the system - so I still havn't got anything to claim my expenses. The hotel was excellent value for B and B. It had a good range of facilities, including dining, bars and swimming pool.It felt likle a holiday, myself and partner were considered high priority by the staff there. Some painting work could be done. the moulding window and bathroom ceiling. the pool looked massive in the photograph and was very small in reality. Changing rooms also too small. yes, the fact that the heating on the room couldn't be turned on. see above. The information in the rooms about the facilities available were very poor...No mention about the Free Wireless Internet, or the liesure facilities etc. I've stayed in a number of the other Britania Hotels and they all have some very good points but all seem a little 'tired' which a number of other clients also comment on. The only things that let you down were inconsiderate guests banging about the corridors and shouting between 4.00 and 5.00 am. The TV remote did not work!. Sauna was very small. The bathroom was a little cramped and in need of a little decoration particularly around the shower ceiling - mould spores.The showers need to have controls changed to thermostatic, very nearly scolded while adjusting spray. The hotel was clearly short staffed and this would make me avoid it in the future. The checking in took forever and the breakfast room was stretched beyond the limit for cleaning tables, bringing food out etc. This is all way too stressful for a business traveller !. They didn't have or get the reservation, thankfully they honoured myinsistance that the price was £45 though that wASN'T printed on theprintout I had. The front desk lady was on her own at time of check in and out plus having to mann the phone--she does her best and is a lovely lady but boy o boy she needs some one to help her as the queue was getting a trifle frustrated. Health club pretty poor. restuarant meals. The couple we were with have a 15 month year old Son.. We were asked to leave the hotel bar as it was after 9.00. Most hotels we have stayed let children stay with their parents. He was asleep and not making any noise, so i thought this was a bit unfair they could not have a couple drinks on the holiday. Noisy neighbours in the middle of the night. Expensive for room only, would have preferred a duvet rather than a single blanket on the bed. smell of smoke in (admitedly smoking) room. Old and too springy bed. But it was OK.Room was quite cold but think that was to do with the weather. rooms were very far from each other, odd layout. Reception had no knowledge of my booking. It had been made five hours earlier on the Web. Our bathroom was in need of attention - paintwork and mould present. My bedroom carpet was fine, but my companions had a rather sorry looking afair!.

By Car:
From the North-West and Aberdeen Airport:
- Follow the signs on the A96 for Aberdeen.
- After the Bucksburn roundabout and immediately after the police station on the right, take the 2nd left junction into Malcolm Road.
- The hotel entrance is the 1st barrier entry on the right.
- Alternatively if you miss this junction, take the next turn left, immediately after the pelican crossing, into Oldmeldrum Road.
- Then take the 1st left into Malcolm Road.
From the South:
- Follow the A90 / A96 signs for Aberdeen Airport.
- After approximately 9.6 km (6 miles), you will approach the busy Haudighan roundabout, coming downhill past a petrol station.
- At the roundabout, turn left, still following the airport signs.
- On entering the 30 mph zone, move across into the right-hand lane.
- Take the filter lane to turn right, just before the pedestrian crossing, into Oldmeldrum Road.
- Turn 1st left into Malcolm Road and the hotel entrance is on the left.
From the North-East and Exhibition Centre:
- Follow the signs for the A92 to Aberdeen.
- At the Exhibition Centre roundabout, turn right, then take the straight through route at the next roundabout onto the Parkway.
- Follow this road for approximately 3.2 km (2 miles).
- At the bottom of the hill, continue straight across the roundabout, to go over the bridge.
- At the roundabout at the end of the bridge, turn right into Mugiemoss Road.
- Continue up this road, until reaching the T-junction with Oldmeldrum Road.
- Turn left at this junction and the hotel is approximately 500 metres along on the right.
- Turn right onto Malcolm Road, and the hotel entrance is 1st left, with car parking on the 2nd left.
