The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA. Don't be put off by the buildings in the area, the hotel was the best we stayed in, throughout our trip to Turkey. -

Though the - We were in a top floor apartment with a nice terrace. Clean, spacious, newly redone. Lots of light. Good A/C. Very quiet with windows closed. Very nice overall. Well situated with regard to tram stops and the Tunel funicular. Not a bad walk over the Galata Bridge to the old city. Some excellent fish places near the bridge. Location is ideal, only about 200m away from Tophane tram station. Staffs were always at their service 24hr, and would do far beyond for your comfort.
The apartment is new, so brightness & cleanliness is guaranteed.
