  We liked everything! Not a single complaint. Excellent location, very good spa facilities for such not big hotel in the center, design interior, very good breakfast, staff very supportive.   Very helpful and nice stuff. Location - next to the istiglaliyyet street 5min walk. A lot of nice pubs in surrounding. Front view, top floors are really nice deal. Clean - the room was cleaned everyday. We have stayed for 4+2nights. There are a lot of things to see in Istanbul and night life is one of them. Breakfast was good. The Breakfast - A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style.
