  The hotel staff are very friendly, cheerful, accomodating and helpfull. The hotel atmosphere is cosy and homely. Breakfast is wonderful and the room very clean and cosy. The room has coffee/tea facility but they provide hot water in a flask. Having a small child, I need an electric kettle to make milk at night. My only regret is that was not able to say goodbye an - If you look for a perfectly located hotel with local flair, you will love Djem. We booked a de Luxe room (located on the second floor in the building facing the mosque). Here, the view is magnificent. The owner runs a shop in the nearby art bazaar and all over the hotel and the room you will find beautiful examples of traditional and contemporary Kelim art. Personnel is great and speaks good to excellent English. Of course you hear the Muezzin at night, but that just adds to the oriental charms

  First when we read these comments we were little afraid how this hotel would be. When we arrived to hotel the girl who gave us keys were little late so we had to wait her for a while since there was no direct reception. Neighbourhood was really peaceful and safe, we didnt feel ourselves threatned at any point of our vacation. Doors had unbelievable safe locks sinc - This is my 2nd stay at the apartment and 10 out of 10 highly recommended.The apartment is in the city center which made it convenient to move around.The staff were extremely responsible ,polite,warm and friendly.The most important thing is that cleaning for me I can say that the lady who cleans the apartment was doing her best.Public transports on your door step.Reasonably price .

The view was just breathtaking, so surreal. The view is definitely incomparable. - Location - The hotel was very close to the Sultanahmet tourist area, with some gift shops, coffee shops and restaurants right next door. The night manager (I think his name was Usman) was a good guide point to various areas and activities. The hotel itself is rather small, just enough room to put your bags and walk to you bed, but it is what you pay for.

  This was the best place I stayed out of 3 hotels in Istanbul! It was super budget friendly but also had really beautiful rooms, really clean and the staff were amazing! it has has a kitchenett so you can make your own meals and the rooms are really spacious. I really liked how the staff would go out of their way to assist us in any way they could!... what people say » Now that i found thus place i would stay here ever time I am in Istanbul!! - The staff is extremely friendly and always ready to help, especially Mr.Salih. The room was small, as in most hotels in I, but large enough. the bathroom was large en well equipped. The terasse on the roof was wonderfull but we could use it only a few times due to bad weather.
