We had a very pleasant stay at Corinne. The staff is extremelly nice and helpfull, the rooms are very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Cheap price for a comfortable and cozy room; the wooden floor is definitely a must. Furthermore, it is very close (4mn walk) to Taksim square and all its shops and restaurants. Lastly, the room possess all the amenities (mini bar, safe, kettle, etc.) you would find at Radisson or Intercontinental, but for less than a third of the cost of it (paid just around $60 for a night and price get lower when booking longer) and the staff is welcoming and speaks fluent English.. I'll happily come back to

A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!
