The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA. Don't be put off by the buildings in the area, the hotel was the best we stayed in, throughout our trip to Turkey. -

I stayed for two nights and was on my own. The room was very small, about 2x2m2 but I didn't need it to be bigger. All I wanted was a place to sleep at night and leave my luggage during the day. There was a double bed in the room, with a very comfortable, hard mattress, a sink, a mirror and a TV. There was also very good wi-fi. It was quiet and clean. Centrally located, super cheap, friendly receptionist. Perfect for me.

The man Gurcen at the check-in counter was very personable, he made me welcome. The accommodations are good, very neat and efficient. The staff was very helpful. The only drawback is the location, you need to take a taxi to the mall or anywhere else. Great place to stay! -

First of all it's location of the hotel - five minute walk from Istiklal street? Galata Tower and Tunel station, which will take you right to the Karakoy and Galata bridge in 90 seconds! Really good price for its location, the personal was absolutely wonderful and treated us as friends from the very beginning.
Even though our card payment somehow didn’t come through to them, which we were never informed of, they kept the room booked for us :)

The hotel was just perfect, as I was traveling on business and my appointments were in Levent, which is just accross the street. There was and parking available for the car, which was a big advantage in this area. The staff is very helpful and especially Hasan, who speeks my own language and was very easy to communicate. The rooms were spacious and clean. No cmplaints at all.

Clean rooms with new furniture: beds for adults and a child, wardrobe, table, chairs, etc. Kitchen corner, frige, gas cooker, cups, plates, and utensils.The apartmants are in the old part of Istanbul, 20-25 min walk to Hagia Sophia. 5 min to the sea embankment, a fish market and fish restaurants. The Comfort Suite is a great little hotel with a very nice feel. Very close to Taksim square and the Istanbul conference center as well as shopping in the Macha area and the area around Istiklal street it is great value for money!
The staff is extremely helpful and will deliver your breakfast plate to your door every morning.
I would recommend this hotel without any doubt to anyone wanting to come to Istanbul.
