  I like the hotel in general, the staff were friendly and they tried to help us regarding to internet issues,we received special treatment ,the receptionist changed the room from floor two to seven with a nice view and also we received a gift (bowl fruits and drinks . the most interesting thing is unlikely of other hotels in Istanbul no one ask us ... what people say » for giving any deposit in check in time,and no rushing for checkout as well. I liked the gym,steam room and the swimming pool very much. - DIVAN Istanbul is perfectly central, 3 minutes walk to Istiklal Caddesi and a 8 minute walk to the Dolmabahçe Palace and Bosphorus. While a hotel in an ideal location is not necessarily a good hotel, this hotel is close to ideal as it is luxurious, affordable with friendly and helpful staff. Made our stay in Istanbul memorable. Moreover, it has a good gymn, indoor swimming pool and a spa.

The Breakfast - A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!
