I stay in Istanbul once a month due to my business, this time I was with my wife. For first time I stayed in this hotel and It was Very very Clean, not any smell of cigarette, new hotel, clean floor in rooms, good bed and mattress, clean toilet and bath. Still the lines between tiles on floor and walls were white and clean. I Highly recommend this hotel to any one who wants to spend about £50-60 as It was the best hotel in my last 2 years trip to Istanbul. Might be better hotel in Istanbul but .
all reviews » The hotel is at a perfect location. Blue mosque,hagia Sofia and the other tourist attractions are walking distance. The tram is 200 mts away and there are a lot of restaurants nearby open till late. Money exchange, local grocery at the door step. The staff are very friendly and helpful to assist you in anyway. Rooms and bathroom are clean but a little small. There is a kettle to make your own tea or coffee but the hotel provide Turkish tea downstairs when ever you request it. Grand bazaar and s. Everything!! From the moment we got there, the staff made us feel at home. I got there very early in the morning (my transfer booked via the hotel ready and waiting for me when I came out at arrivals) and they took care of me with offers of tea's & coffee's until I could check in. Our room was as described and very ample for our weekend stay. Very clean and tidy hotel. Breakfast was a little strange (more like a lunchtime buffet) but lots of it and very tasty. The coffee did not disappoint . I liked everything.My room was very comfortable,everything was working very good.The bed was also good,so I could sleep and rest without problems.Breakfast was delicious and variety of products was quite satisfying.Hotel is situated in the territory of hotels and restaurants,so it is very convinient and safe.We could come back even very late without any problems.Tram stations are very near and we can also go to the seaside on foot.Location is perfect also because,u can visit famous historical p. - The location of the hotel is the best you can get in the middle of town. The Serkci tram station is about 150 meters away. The historical area of Istanbul is a 15 min walk. Gulhane park is a 10 min walk. Eminonu area is a 5 min walk where you take the bosphorus trips. Misr pazar is a 10 min walk. - The area around the hotel enjoys a warm tourist friendly atmosphere with many restaurants - The hotel is reasonably clean and well managed - Inside the rooms seems to have been renovated re. The priority for me was to get the five of us (two adults, one teen and two young ones) in a single room that was spacious and comfortable for all. I would have to say that the room we were in fit both requirements. Breakfast was suitable with varied local selection. The location can not be beat, we were within walking distance to EVERYTHING we wanted to see and plenty to do. Restaurants just down the street, tram stop just down the hill again location is fantastic. I would certainly stay here . In a great location. The breakfast was good, lots of variety and little changes to menu made everyday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would go out for the day and come back to our hotel to find our rooms had been cleaned, new towels would have been placed and the essentials had been restocked. Would definitely recommend and would stay at this hotel again if I was to go Istanbul again. Hotel is located in the historical center within walking distance to important monuments and places of interest. Breakfast is served as buffet style with Turkish flavor. Even though I'm Taiwaness, most of dishes here are quite suitable for me and my children. The most important thing is that the manager, Sadoo, is a great men who is full of enthusiasm and treats guests as friends. The location is perfect. The staff are first class in their helpfullness and service. They always helped us to find our way around. One day that it was raining, they were very kind and lent us an umbrella. The rooms were very neat and roomy..Perfect. We decided to return again to the same hotel after our trips out of Istanbul at the last day prior to our leaving for our country. The staff could not have done more! they were amazing, especially the general manager/owner who was very interactive and provided some brilliant tips - restaurants, shows, excursions. We liked the convivial approach of the staff to guests, the turkish breakfast and among all the affordable price of the hotel bearing in mind that the Hotel is situated in a very old part of Istanbul for which in some other world cities the price would be vertiginous. Cleaning could be better.It is satisfying but I expected more. - Internet a slow but open to multiple devices and free - We had to wait up to 10 min for the elevator in some cases. My only complaint would be that the picture on the website did not reflect the room which we ultimately stayed in. The room we were in was not the updated version pictured. However, I will reiterate that it was comfortable and with enough space for the five of us. Sometimes some children here were out of control running around inside the hotel and up and down the stairs or an elevator. Absolutely nothing !. No problems with anything. Some guests were behaving as if they were all alone in the hotel so they were terribly noisy and sometimes it was hard to get asleep. No parking, but the hotel was very helpful arranging it. Only one hotel key per room, but the hotel was kind enough to open the door if someone came back without the key. Hotel is still undergoing renovation. Will be like new very soon, which would make scores "excellent" for facilities and cleanliness. Had some mold arrange edges in bath. Otherwise, perfectly clean. Breakfast could be improved, as there was too much dry pastry and not enough fresh food that is filling. Bathroom could be cleaned a little better and it smelt a bit damp. The view of outside the room so boring with the ruins of old buildings that are under construction. Nothing much to dislike. In the room there is no place to put luggage, the room is too small. It would be nice to put a sponge for shoes. As for breakfast, it would be desirable to have a natural juice drink and not synthetic. And very disappointed with the quality of coffee. We had double bed room. Too small we no table or chair. The WiFi signal was quite low inside of the room even when they have routers in every floor. I wish they could provide tea bags in the room daily instead on arrival only.overall it is A great hotel and stuff!!!. No service lift so sharing with endless staff transporting cleaning equipment, trolleys etc. One staff member just had a clipboard and went up one floor! Aircon broken in my room/sauna(!). Construction going on near hotel. Nothing. لا شى. Maybe tea and coffee avaiable to be made in the room. as triple room it was very small for three adults. Hope they can have bigger trash cans. The lift was so small for a family of 4. There was a slight delay in check-in time. having to return to 14 degrees in Vienna after 30 in Istanbul. Cannot fault the hotel. Size of my room. It was too small. The only window was facing somewhere inside the building. Rooms, noisy can hear air conditioners and other travellers in their rooms. Only a very small thing...but still...the pillow...it was far to big for me. Small bedroom and missing the finishing touch . (nails in wooden plints. Our room's curtain only half piece, water heater is rusty, glass in room got tea stain on it.
