A brand new property with very helpful and genuinely earnest staff. The rate is excellent at the moment too for a hotel of this high quality. A small but very nice indoor pool and spa area are a great bonus after a long hot day. The complimentary bottles of water and tea/coffee facilities in the room were very welcome indeed, as these are usually not standard in lots of hotels in Turkey.
all reviews » Everything! The facilities are simply superb, the staff extremely friendly, courteous and very helpful. A very relaxed atmosphere. All the modern conveniences and only a hop, skip and jump to shops, bars, restaurants and interesting sights by foot or short taxi ride - I would stay there again and highly recommend the Radisson Blu to anyone seeking excellent accommodation in Istanbul. The staff was super kind, helpful and quick. The Nespresso coffee machine with the complimentary coffee capsules were great because that is my favourite coffee. And i guess the rooms really are sound proof because me and my friend had a pillow fight and i guess no one complained about how loud we were :)) I wasn't expecting that view in Pera!. Every thing was perfect. The location was excellent near to istklal st. For shopping. Neer to taksim square. Far 10 min by taxi from beshkitash which is has alot of coffee and restaurants. Far 15 min by taxi from Bebek which is the best place for fancy restaurant and cafes. The breakfast was very good. Stuff always smily and helpful. I stayed for 3 nights at the hotel..the staff was very friendly starting from reception to the bar ,spa and bellboy ..everyone was very welcoming and helpful.all of them in all duties. The one touch service saved me a lot of confusing.very clean and modern.I Love the hotel . and in my next visit I would totally choose same hotel . The newness of the property means there are a few minor issues the hotel needs to chase up... for example our air-conditioning made an annoying buzzing sound every 2-3 minutes that was loud enough to make falling asleep difficult. That said the hotel were very happy to move us to a new room. Nothing I didn't like! Perhaps if the rooftop/terrace was open (due September) - the view will be spectacular (it was great from our room on the 5th floor). I would have loved to have a drink in the business lounge but it was closed the time we went :(. The only problem I had was with the check in..it took them until 3.30 to check me in..even thu I arrived early and was very tired..and the check in receptionist or supervisor ,she wasn't very friendly . otherwise it all was perfect. Nothing. Don't ask for hotel pick up from the airport as it is heavily overpriced. The hotel was still under construction and unfortunately the roof bar/terrace was not finalized. This roof bar/terrace should compensate for the lack of a nice dinner restaurant on the ground floor. The ground floor restaurant is excellent for breakfast, but has not the right ambiance for a nice dinner with friends. *The Rooms arrangments were not according to reservation although its clearly defined in the reservation(it took some time to fix it) *Hotel recommendations for restaurants and transportation are extremely high and expensive(No Options especially for transportation such as airport). *Although the rooms are great but the doors are heavy and they close quick (no spring to allow gradual closing) with loud sound (dangerous for kids). We had a problem with the shower in our bathroom. The water temperature could not be adjusted and was either far too hot or far too cold. We reported this problem to the hotel. Unfortunately it was not fixed during our stay but, if it is, then we would have no complaints about the room. I requested an early check in, as my flight arrived at 5.25am. I waited until 11:00am to be checked in. After a nine hour flight, this is not ideal. However, the staff did explain that there were no rooms available. some repeating noise from air conditioner or may be other systems during the night. Nothing. Nothing - I will be back for sure!. We have experienced nothing negative. - doors need sound-proofing. Nothing particularly. It would be great to have the power outlets compatible with US standards. I have seen this in other 5-star hotels, and it really helps forgetful people like myself :). We travelled with friends and they did not clean their room for 2 days although they told them on first day that they didnt do it. We had to change our room because ventiolation was just below our room and we could feel vibrations of it in the bad. Room cleaning was not satisfactory, we came back in the evenings many times to find the left-overs from previous days still on the floor. Bad smell from the sewer in shower. You can here music from the bar next door to some of the rooms. my room view was disaster. Check in were delayed until 2:00 PM (as its mentioned in the check in policy) even with the availability of rooms. Nothing. nothing really. Single number 9 for all your requirements which was generally busy and had to wait long to get things done. Asked for a late check out (by just an hour) after 4 nights of stay and was denied bluntly. Exchange rates were low. The hotel is located on a very busy road which is too close to the building, so ask for a fighter floor or back view if you do not want to see, smell and hear cars. The 4, 5, 6 floors viewing the Bosporus are the best. - bathroom is a bit too small n congested. - Waiting in a line couple times for breakfast due to overload of guests. the service was slow sometimes they did not fill the bathroom with shampoo/ toilet paper and sometimes they did not even leave towels. nothing. Doors in the hotel you can here during sleeping when they get closed so you hear everytime some open snd close the room. Heavy traffic road outside, of you take the sea view!. Nothing. nothing maybe if the breakfast was included in the room price would be nice. Small room.
