Our luggage was lost in airport. We had to spent one hour for claim preparation. Despite this taxi driver provided by Lallin hotel waited for us and didn't charge for overtiming. Hotel staff were really helpful and resolved themselves problem of the lost luggage. Maybe they made 10 or 100 calls in airport department during all the next day until our luggage was delivered right in our room. Excellent job! There is a railroad nearby but no trains traffic on it. So it is absolutely quiet place. Br.
all reviews » The Staff specifically Hayretin and Ayoub were very nice and helpful and provide you with good advice and hints to get to places. Ayoub was very helpful that he gave us his own personal rain shield that saved our rainy day and allowed to take our baby. Breakfast was very nice. the location is excellent as it is a walking distance to the main attractions (Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Topkapi palace) and also it is very close to the street where all the restaurants are. Baby Cot. was good. The personnel is very kind and friendly.The location of the hotel is very good. It situated not far from the places of interest as Sultanahmet mosque, Aya Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and others. The hotel is so fresh. The rooms are very cosy and comfortable. Everything was clean. The breakfast was perfect with lots of choice. The internet connection is nice. The hotel rooms are in turkish style and were cleaned every day. The staff at the hotel went out of their way to help us, we arrived late on both nights. We were also doing a tour and had an early flight so breakfast was served to us before the scheduled time. The friendliness of the staff was second to none and I would definately recommend this place to anyone visiting Istanbul. We loved the fact that the room is very spacious. Compared to the other accommodatio around the Old Sultanahmet, this hotel offer value for money accomodation. After a long walk exploring the city, coming back to a cosy room and bed is great. the staffs are friendly, breakfast was ok and offers modern facilities. Just next to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, but away from noise and crowd. The staff is excellent. When we were there, there was a power cut for a day due to a fire in the next street, but they managed to provide almost all services as normal. This is outrageous for a boutique hotel in my opinion. Wonderful, comfortable, quiet and clean hotel. Very nice staff. Great breakfast. Perfectly located near Blue Mosk, Hagia Sofia and Topkapi Palace. Many restaurants around the corner. Whenever we return to Istanbul we would definitely stay here again. The polite and efficient staff, the simple and pure-tasting food at breakfast, the available parking places, the proximity to all landmarks in Sultanahmet area. And unexpectedly quiet for that part of the city. The service was spectacular! The location was great in that you get the feel of staying in a Turkish neighborhood while only being a 5 minute walk from all the major sites. Place was great, staff wondeful. Road not suitable to baby strollers/wheelchairs Price is considerably high for the size of the rooms and you need to climb very tight stairs. Not suitable for old people. The tram is very close and you can hear it but it doesn't disturb you. The curtains do not block the sun. The only nuance is the fact that hotel is situated near the train way but in our opinion it's not considered to be a minus because trains are not working in the evening when tourists come back so they have opportunity for having rest after a long day. The hotel is a bit hard to find by taxi but eventually you will find it anyway. its a bit of a walk coming from blue mosque area (say 10-15 min from blue mosque) but if you enjoy walking, this should be ok. the comfort of the room compensate for this. Sea-view rooms are not quite so. And both pedestrians and motorists will have a hard time finding the place, if they do not know the area well. It is a wooden building, and you can hear the people above you walking around, flushing toilet, etc. Unfortunaely, we had neighbors above us stomping around and slamming doors at 12:30 AM. the window did not have stores, the morning sun was too bright. The location, which is not the hotel fault, need some maintenance. Also, rooms need some minor maintenance like changing bulbs, but all in all a good place. Noise from the train nearby.
