The staff was really nice, the manager and reception greeted us curbside when the taxi drove up curb side. They had our room promptly ready with the key at check in, and offered us a variety of drinks while our luggage was taken to the room. We had a quadruple room for a family of 2 adults and 2 small kids, everyone had their own bed. The room was very clean and well sized to accompany 12 pieces of luggage. I have to say upon entering the room it was very clean and all the white sheets and towe.
all reviews » It was my first time in Istanbul and I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! When we walked they greeted us well and offered tea and other drinks. The staff was wonderful, very friendly! Special thanks to Mr. Hasan who was very helpful and Özcan and Murat for being such gentlemen's. The hotel it self was very clean and the rooms were a good size. The location was great, it's close to the tram station, but you didn't really need it because its close to everything so you can walk. Air conditionin. We were greeted warmly on arrival by a very friendly young man called Kasimm who immediately offered us a hot or cold beverage. We were then showed to our room by another very friendly bellhop by the name of Murat. Our room was crisp and clean, the breakfasts were more than adequate and tasty and we were as a whole very happy with our stay. We were even assisted with our luggage all the way to the Metro station with very heavy bags! Then even allowed us a late checkout as our flight only left m. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts were great with a large variety of dishes. The cleaning staff were also friendly and punctual. We stayed a total of 8 nights and found the tram, metro and bus service very convenient. We could reach all the tourist and shopping areas with the Istanbul card. Often walked all the way.The neighborhood is great for dinner and strolling around at night. Felt safe. Much cheaper than in the tourist areas. Great shopping just round the corner. We were very pleased with this hotel. Obviously there is room for improvement. Our choice was influenced by the location and the price for 16-22 July, which we consider to be the most suitable for services. Thank you Mr. Huseyin this way for good organization, Mr. Ibrahim and Kasim for your kindness, Mr. Hasan for morning meals carefully prepared and Ozcan and Murat. What we loved the most is fabulous breakfast in a garden. Quit change in compere to noisy Istanbul. Staff was great and room was very clean. Since we arrived with a ferry boat from Bursa it was an ease access to hotel, only 1 km away as well as leaving Istanbul, imidiate access to O3 ring highway. Nice memories... The room and hotel itself were very nice. Everything was kept clean and modern. Breakfast was also tasty, had a variety to choose from. Different cereals, breads, jams, cheeses, meat, vegetables, and eggs. The location was also great for us. It was out of the city and away from the crowds and tourists. This meant cheaper food and a better atmosphere. But it was also close enough to the tram that we could get to the center in under 15 minutes. This new hotel was a good choice. The location was in easy reach of the monuments, metro, tram station on the corner - ideal for discovering the city. The room was big, the breakfast was all right (local specialities included). Location is very feasible, all attractions are just two to three stops away, tram station is hardly two minute walk away, currency exchange and shops just adjacent, airport taxi service with cheap fare. Big thumbs up. Highly recommended. This was our second stay, on our second leg of a vacation through the region. We had booked originally with another hotel on our second leg, but we had a great stay the first time so we canceled and stayed here. They don't have there own shuttle, but did provide a private shuttle which you can add to your bill which is better then a taxi, especially if you have lots of luggage with small kids. Me and my colleague arrived 3 hours before check-in. In spite of that fact we were very welcomed and checked-in right away. The room was clean and cozy and was cleaned every day. The hotel is located in an nice and cheap area populated mostly by local people and is positioned at only 100mt from the tram station of the line going directly to the centre in 10min and a 300mt from the subway station of the airport line. We had trouble finding the hotel. Google maps indicated the wrong location - it is not close to Aksaray tram station but 150 metre from Ysufpasa tram station and the bus stops. It is about 300 metre from Aksaray metro station (from and to the Ataturk airport). The cleaning ladies walked in on us twice without knocking.This was unacceptable and frustrating for us. My only concern was the purely traditional turkish breakfast. Might suggest the hotel to have some English breakfast items like fried eggs, beans and English breakfast tea. Just need to add fresh fruit for breakfast. Location on the map and their webpage could be marked better in order to find it easier. Hotel looks much better in real then on photos on the letsbookhotel.com and their webpage. You should consider to renew the photos. Almost no noise insulation. For those who don't like walking this hotel may seem to be located too far from all the sights. It takes 10 min walking to the tram station, and then ~15 min to Sultanahmet by the tram. Nothing ,it's anew hotel small things can be added in the future. may be there were some rooms which are too narrow for 2 people to stay, but we insisted to have the room we booked from letsbookhotel.com which was so spacious and nice. otherwise i think there is nothing to be disliked in this hotel. The room was not perfectly cleaned. The only thing I didn't like was that my neighboring room had people that were extremely noise and obnoxious and that made my mornings a little unpleasant. Nothing. Don't request for taxi from the hotel. We ended up sharing the taxi with other people and paying £40 tl when we could have got away with £20 tl (Shared Taxi). Hotel didn't informed us that the taxi will be shared and the taxi driver didn't speak English. He stopped for 20 minutes to board people. We could have missed the flight as there was lot of rush at the airport because of him but thank god we didn't miss. Hotel is located in a run down or old part of town! But it's only a cosmetic view. 1-The centra ac in our room 107 hit strong on our head coz the fins r downward instead of upward. 2-The door of the room is not sound proofed.u can hear evry thing happens in the coredor.Though the windows and walls are soundproofed. But I still recommend it. Few times room was not very clean. Some constraction on the first floor was a bit noisy. Frankly speak nothing is bad for me and my family, it's a first time I leave my 7 and 8 kids in the lobby for more than 6 hours and I go for shopping with my wife last day after we chek out the room, when we came back we find them very happy and injoy them time with the staff. On some mornings there was a lack of free tables during the breakfast. However, it's understandable since the hotel was full and the open terrace was closed yet. Very small combined bathrooms (at least private), 5 a.m. loud call to prayers from nearby mosque (but it's everywhere in city center), aircon is not working from time to time (402 room), very small TV panel - it is really looking ridiculous hanged on a huge 5m length wall)). Breakfast was very limited. Don't ask hotel to get taxi, the taxi will charge 20 lira to go to Sultanahmet. Hail taxi yourself and they may agree to use meter (12 lira to Sultanahmet). - Room hasn't any soundproof, at least to the inside. We heard every step from the staircase and every door slamed, - Bed had no blanket (or second bed sheet as a blanket), we had to ask twice and it took an hour and a short discussion to get it, very disappointing!. So-called orange juice at breakfast tasted awful. Street outside quite noisy. nothing. nothing. Breakfast maybe better as is. Only one little thing i was there in ramazan month and i thought there is sahur indtead of breakfast bec there is 99% muslim people and there is many otels make sahur .. Breakfast was just ok. If you prefer to stop close to the nightlife, a better location to chose would be Beyoglu district. single room is very narrow .is only not more than 14 metre not 20. WIFI service ups and downs.
