Very nice hotel, well positioned, about 3 minutes walk from tram station (T1 - main tram line which takes tourists to all the sightseeing places), 10 minutes walk from Grand Bazaar. Actually we could walk from the hotel to the majority of the places that we visited. Staff was very friendly and helpful providing us different information that we asked for and also a very good Istanbul map. Breakfast was very good with good variety of cheese. Rooms are quite small but very clean and well maintain.

I stayed 4 nights in buyuk keban. . we were for. . we booked a quadruple room. . the staff gave us two double rooms! ! they were so friendly. . in each floor there are refrigertors that offer Cold/Hot water. . amazing! Close to city center and idel. For shopping Breakfast was amazing. . but no. Excellent Location, very close to the tramway station and 20 minutes walk to Sultanahmet and other historical attractions. Well maintained rooms. Friendly Staff. Excellent 5-star level Breakfast. Good value for money, even the rates were very reasonable despite of staying there in peak season. Excellent hotel, staff is very pleasant, rooms are very clean, breakfast is very good.The hotel is situated in the old part of the town, and it is very close to the metro/tram station.You can also reach very easy all important touristic sites by foot. Even if the hotel is on a quite street, the main street where the tram passes, is very noisy and crowded. And all the neighborhood is very crowded, full of people selling different things. The hotel advertised a pool table & table tennis table but didn't have them anymore.This information should be updated. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room that is not by the road. There was a noise on my corridor every night,people were making noise while we were sleeping. Too much cheating from the local people. All the time they were cheating in prices in the restaurants, shops, taxi and market places. It was very depressing. Slow Wi-Fi connection, but enough to navigate on internet. The TV was not functioning for all 4 days I spent there thus could not watch sport. If they could have more variety on their breakfast not to have one and the same menu every day of the week. the view from room small size of room. Cold water No possible to check out after 12.00. small bathroom, worst setup of toilet (no place to sit!). 1) much noise and knoking during the night, i did not know from where it came. 2) bad quality of food. it was not up to what I expected acually....poor wifi connection ...uclean..its not as nice as it looks in the photos...wont do it again..trrible experince. the staff abused a friend of mine who was a wid0w accused of being aprostitute. very bad hotel everything is bad the staff disaster no maneners, the Facilities below zero they keep me all my stay without AC. i don't recommend any body to stay at this hotel because will never satisfied.
