The location of Hotel Aslan is perfect for a busy tourist who wants to see the city. Close to everything. The staff was very kind and helpfull. The room was small, as in most hotels in I, but large enough. the bathroom was large en well equipped. The terasse on the roof was wonderfull but we could use it only a few times due to bad weather. Next time we ll be back at Hotel aslan!. Excellent location; all the staff very friendly and helpful with advise on places to go,manager very efficient and allowed both early check-in and late check-out;excellent housekeeping; rooms were very clean and comfortable;very good breakfast.The whole atmosphere at the hotel was lovely and very hospitable.

By myself, I was quite comfortable using the spare single bed to spread my belongings around on, but a couple might be frustrated with the lack of space. Nothing - location etc was all very good - felt safe , rested and was anexcellent base for travel just minutes from blue mosque with cafes etcnearby .. I think Hotel must have been renovated but was immaculatelyclean and the roof terrace was very nice..no. some people might complain the rooms are too small but im not there to sit in the room so it didn't bother me at all. My shower broke and the air conditioning in my room didn't seem to work well. It was good in the other rooms though.Air conditioning not working properly. This is just a suggestion. I wish they had botteled water. I always have water in my room.Transfers to and from hotel did not becouse I booked from booking.com. Didn,t appear to be any bar facilities for evening drinks.a bit pricey. They charge you before you enter your room.very small rooms. No desk or chair in the rooms for laptop/reading/writing!. The rooms are too small. No chairs and no cloth drawers for my shirts. Room too small - literally room for bed only and very small robe. Without a non-slip surface the bathroom floor can be very slippery and combined with a raised shower the step from shower to bathroom floor may not be suitable for mature guests. There was some ants in the room. No furniture but two beds, one nightstand, and a tv on the wall.small rooms. We were allocated a very small double room and could only move to a slightly larger room with twin beds if we would have paid an additional 20 Euro per night which we did not want to do. Also we were overlooking a building site next door and the back of the buildings around the block, all in all an ugly sight. Fortunately not much time was spent in the room. General lack of space.Room was very small. Only suitable for a very short stay. Would only go again if larger room available. Doublr room not facing the mosque was quite small, air con didn't work properly, staff tried to help with tour and shuttle bookings but stuffed up several times.
