As a single female traveler to Istanbul, saftey was a major concern of mine. The staff at The Grand Ant Hotel was friendly and I felt like they were looking out for me. Most of them spoke at least a little English. The hotel is located a few doors down from a major road and very convenient to the Aksaray tram stop, so you can get to all of the major sights in just a few minutes. It is in a great location if you want to truly experience the life of the city. My room was clean. Breakfast service .

The breakfast should be changed on a daily basis. I don't like having the same thing over and over again. it is noisy early in the morning due to neighbour shops... Staff is tough,wifi is not covered properly in rooms,I ask for location map the reception they reply that will cost five lira,staff not helpfull on check out we ask for somebody to collect the luggage but no body appear. Location is very very bad don't have parking didn't charge my credit card & I paid cash 51 euro & didn't issue recipt for my payment I hope they don't charge my credit card !!!. very small and dark rooms, quite away from the historic centre, very noisy.
