We booked a room at Deniz Houses for four nights, but we couldn't stay there because of an urgent refurbishment. The staff was very friendly and helpful and organized a lovley room in an other hotel (Naz Wooden House) very close to Deniz Houses in the center of Istanbul. The new hotel room was claen, the staff was helpful and nice, we had excellent breakfest on a terrace with view over the bosporus.
all reviews » excellent location they gave us a small apartment for the same rate so we could also cook.the position was very quite the breakfast excellent on the rooftop from where you can sea the sea and the blue mosque on the other side.very rich with a lot of vari ety of food.they changed towels and bed sheets everyday and also they cleaned the room.the staff was all very kind and gentle very very good place. 1. The location of the hotel is great. 2.The rooms are very clean (they clean it every day), they change the towels and the bed sheets every day 3. I liked everything about this hotel. The staff were helpful, but not pushy. The location was great - close to all of the main attractions, but in a safe, quiet street. My room was warm, the bathroom was modern and clean. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel is really very well situated in the best region, which offers you to walk to all important sightseening places during some minutes. After I booked I was sent a mail with tour ideas and an offer (which I took up) of booking a taxi to the airport. Good location not far from main sites of Sultan Ahmed. Staff Friendly. Sea view rooms might not be for light sleepers because of traffic street and train tracks below. Some Internet connection problems, especially in the rooms. Somehow, 5 Euros were added to the bill when I modified the dates I would stay. well, first time we visited on our trip we stayed for 4 days, cost was 70 euro's a night, people we met had paid 45 euro's. then when we went back prior to our return to canda 2 weeks later, we paid 55 euro's. all for the same room. quite confusing, they said I must have booked from somewhere else, but I did all through same site :). We had to wait for about 2 hours after our arrival before the room was ready. Staff is a bit noisy and loud talking while cleaning the next rooms. 1- very small rooms 2- no lift 3- expensive airport transportation. Refurbishing works were going on but the noise was minimal and only during the day. wifi coverage is incomplete and unpredictable, a problem in a town where commercial internet cafes are largely disappeared. nothing. bath needs to renew... breakfast start to be boring after six days of the same food. no trash bin in the room. the sprayer in the toilet seat is not installed with proper angel. not very quite. The underneath sink counter dirty and the shower room edges mildew. nothing. Size of rooms. Bulding B is a bit outdated but still nice. Not all the workers had a decent english. I booked the same time as a friend, and paid the same price. She was in a huge suite-like room, my room was slightly bigger than my bed. It seems that luck needs to be on your side!. -Room is Narrow. Recommend requesting rooms 3, 6 or 9 in Deniz B which are bigger. -Steep climb up to sultan Ahmed Square. -No easy access to Tram station as you need climb Steep road to sultan Ahmed (especially not with a stroller). -Best option is Taxi. The price is relatively high in relation with the service. 1-They did not informe us there was a rest oration in the hotel before we received They find another place to stay this is the point And the ather place is very fare away from stret. I couldnt find my booking when I arrived at the hotel. They had to move me to another hotel in a worse room. Next day they moved me to the booked one. I do not know if this is a letsbookhotel.com or the hotel mistake. They give us a room in the 4th floor beside the breakfast area(too noise)and the heating didn't worκ..also no elevator!. Cheated us by showing pics of another building while making us stay in under construction dilapidated building.
