When you are visiting a large tourist city, its common for you to get lost in the multitude of options and hotel locations. Look no further, coz this beauty of a hotel is so fantastically located that you are within 5 min walking of all the attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar. We stay at this lovely hotel for 5 nights with our 8 month old baby and it was the best decision we made in Istanbul. We booked the Superior Double room with a Sea View and had .
all reviews » Excellent small hotel in the old center of Istanbul (Sultanahmet). We had a superior room on the fifth floor with very good sea view. Very good large beds. Fine bath room. Everything meticulously clean. Absloutely quiet position, so we could sleep even with open windows. The only thing you hear are some cats at night and of course the Muezzin from the Blue Mosque at daybreak. This really adds to the right flavour of the city. On the sixth floor there is a large terrace with chairs and tables wh. We arrived at the hotel prior to the check in time and were warmly welcomed with the offer of chai, turkish coffee, or ordinary tea/coffee. We found the hotel was ideally situated within 10-15 minutes walking distance from Blue Mosque and Hafia Sophia, along with a number of decent restuarants for an evening meal. There was plenty to eat for breakfast with the normal selection of cold meats, cheeses, olives, salad, eggs, cereals, bread, juices etc, along with some turkish savoury pastries. Ther. Enchanting. Reception made every effort to diminish the level of noise of our very noisy neighbors. Nothing to dislike. It was perfect!. It is very difficult to identify a negative. Nong. There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel. We would highly recommend it!. breakfast was a little limited in its choice but it was no big deal, really. I would prefer that breakfast had more varieties such as oriental and Turkish food. Otherwise, it was a great hotel. Nothing. Pillows could be better but couldn't fault anything else. We stayed in a room for 4 and the bathroom I thought was quite small. We were in a great room on the 5th floor just below the terrace, movement of tables and chairs above on the terrace were amplified and this was a problem late at night. Suggest rubber attachments to table and chair legs. very poor breakfast , poor international type (ham & cheese), even if good turkish coffee but this is hard for breakfast... and no baklava !. Shame there wasn't more use made of the rooftop but we understood planning rules prevented this. Not alot. I travel a lot so I have some comparison. I can find no single thing that I would not like about the hotel!. Walls were very thin. Could hear people talking, young kids crying through out the night. The room in the flat floor was small. the breakfast is poor and the breakfast room has not enough capacity and is unconfortable. Rooms small, no restaurant, skimpy breakfast.
