My children and I stayed three nights. It's within walking distance of the bus station and about two kilometers from the Göreme Open Air Museum. In the other direction are some other ruins if you prefer something away from most of the tourists. The night and morning managers were the epitome of hospitality--answering questions, giving marvelous recommendations, offering apple tea and just overall being excellent hosts. We really enjoyed one of the larger rooms (2) with its private hammam. What a lovely location and delightful hosts! We took advantage of the tour led by the owner's father, Hasan. This small hotel is all about the views, perched on top of a very steep hill with awesome postcard views of Goreme and surrounding areas. people like downtown for accommodation but Arif Hotel definitely worth

The pension offers traditional basic accommodation , turkish breakfast and its perfect for a few days stay.

Grand Cave Suites was a magnificent place to stay; carved out of part of one of the many Faerie Chimneys there in Goreme, the rooms give you an amazing feeling of wonderment. Ours had two windows that opened to a beautiful view of Goreme and other carved sandstone-like spires. At sunrise, you could see many hot-air balloons ascending in the sky. Fabulous!
