From the moment we arrived, service was first class. A warm reception, attentive staff and an instant settling in was quickly in place! The Yacht Classic's food is fantastic. Both the view and the service at breakfast was a wonderful start to the day. There are 2 pools which do not get over crowded. There is music but this is discreet and doesn't feel overbearing, more like a back drop to the day. The room service too was excellent. Fresh towels, bed linen and a thorough clean was provided eac.
all reviews » This hotel was sensational considering the cost. Large private balcony overlooking the harbour (with sunset!) and pool made for great relaxation. The room was spotless and very spacious. Staff was super friendly, particularly Rose who actually sat down with me to have a chat about the hotel's services and any other questions I had on my arrival. It was also my birthday and I was surprised with a delicious piice of cake and wine (perhaps coincidentally of the 'Rose' variety) in ice bucket (too b. The pool and decking area with luxury sun beds, the fact that pool towels were never in short supply. Staff always friendly and conscientious, nothing was too much trouble. Room furnishing was very comfortable. We had a side facing room which was a bit small so would recommend requesting a marina facing room!. Staying at the Yacht Classic Hotel was a special experience. This is a beautiful hotel with a luxurious feel to it. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and warm, the setting, calming and relaxing, the room, lovely and spacious. Room to Streetside is quite noisy with open windows... I like open windows... Lack of tea bags in the room and had to ask for them. Tissues in the bathroom would have been helpful and refreshed shower gell/shampoo would have been good too. Otherwise all was well. Bar prices expensive but average for 5* hotel . There was nothing we disliked. the hotel needs to train their restaurant and bar staff ; there seems to be little leadership. the quality of their renovations are first class; however their food ( breakfast and other)along with the bar service needs to improve to match the quality of the rest of the hotel.
