Lovely hotel with 1st class grounds; pool and staff. Location very good, 10 mins to beach and wide choice of restaurants etc. Only real drwback (which seems to run through all reviews on this hotel) is the price of food and drink. That said this can be navigated around, somewhat, by making use of happy hours and in my view at the end of the day it is often worth paying an extra couple of quid for am pimt if it means you get 1st class surroundings, avoiding the 'brit on the ....booze' type Spl - Stacey

Stayed here for a week in the October half term, with our two boys (15,13). Location was great with top quality rooms and fantastic buffet food each morning and evening as HB package. Excellent value for money with lots of choice and variety of food. Gym, pools, and general facilities were great. We walked to the beach which was fine but would recommend the shuttle if your not a keen on climbing steps back up to the Shearton. Have just returned from our honeymoon, which we spent at the Sheraton. Absolutely fab hotel. Could not fault the staff, the cleanliness and location. It was just 10 minutes to their private beach, even though it was a pebble beach it was still lovely. It was not too much trouble for the staff in doing what we asked for. Room was cleaned every day to a high standard. towels changed when needed. On arrival we had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room with a letter from the manager welc - Gisele
