Excellent bungalow very much in beach front. We did take family bungalow because it was nearest from beach, allthough we traveled with two of us. But it was in good price range and absolutely worth that price! Restaurant had very good food (best in the beach) and BBQ every night (also, excellent food!). Staff was friendly, smily and helpofull, all pro. Excellent location and in front of bungalow was probably best part of this beach. Clean room, good bed, good shower. Wifi was working well enoug.
all reviews » We totally loved our stay here at haad salad, the staff are amazing especially the English chap who makes sure all runs smoothly and done all he could to help us there, before we went we read on the reviews how far away from haad rin it was, it didn't stop us booking there and I'm glad I ignored those reviews, we jumped a taxi bus for 150 baht to take us in and paid 200 to get back, we hired a scooter from haad salad villa and I strongly advice any traveler to do this also, at 200 a day it will. Beautiful location in the middle of the Salad Beach - feels like heaven! There are some more luxurious resorts at the same beach - so you pay little and enjoy the same seaside as those paying much more! Bungalows are very basic, but after all you don't get to spend much time inside, so it doesn't really matter. Hammocks are fantastic - even if it rains, you can chill out or have a quick nap on the porch. Fan is more than enough to keep you cool - we had A/C, but haven't turned it on even once.. Right in the centre of the bay so easy access to the beach and other restaurants and also to the village. Upgrade to the beach view bungalows. Much better view! We were two girls and had a double bed each. The staff were friendly and efficient and helped us with any queries or requests we had. Great price for local Thai food in the bay. The owners took us to the ferry terminal instead of a taxi. (200THB per person). The Thai massage at the hotel was great to - we got them down to 250THB for a T. Great bungalows and very good value. We booked one night, not knowing what to expect and ended up staying a week. Loved the faucets by the entrance to each room for sandy feet and the bbq every night!. everything was great, great people, food, location, friendly staff. we had a great time!!!. Great value for money, great view on beachfront bungalows. Nice value restaurant. the price, the location (when the tide is better), and the restaurant. Lovely Hotel with very friendly staff. Very close to the beach, nice hotel restaurant and "my way" restaurant is also nice -right next door-. The a/c was quiet and laundry was provided by the hotel directly. Transfer booking arranged by the hotel. Rooms not cleaned and fresh towels not given but minor things considering how bloody amazing the place is... We would come back again for sure:-D. We spent there two days, which was perfect. Unless you want to dive, I think that it may get a bit boring if you want to stay longer. I wasn't very impressed by the restaurant. Breakfasts were ok, but I preferred some other restaurants for dinners (e.g. My Way). No TV in our bedroom but it was good to read our books on the veranda over looking the sea. No kettle but good size fridge. The air con didn't seem to work as well as we hoped but it wasn't over hot. Rooms were not cleaned daily. We were fine with it, given the price, but keep that in mind. Didnt like the restaurant playing music when u wanted To relax To the sound of the Waves, but it was not a big deal. this time of year, the water was very shallow during the day. Nothing it was all great. Kitchen is closing very early, but its typical for the area :). Up on a hill therefore a bit far from everything else, definitively not walking distance to any shopping street or 7 11. Toilet did ot flush, room keeping non existing. Misunderstanding with pick up on arival, after two hours waiting we were told the pick up was not possible unless we paid 600 bht! We arranged our own transfer to the hotel, for less.
