Was a good location to escape the noise from the party area. Yes the
bungalows are up some steep stairs which aren't a problem with
backpacks but could be tricky with suitcases. One of the staff took our
bags from the pier to the reception which was an unexpected luxury
(free!). Just speak to the man at the pier holding up the Uphill Cottage

I felt that Ms. Lee was very nice and helpful...not at all the irate person she has been portrayed to be. The guest house was clean and in a good location..not too far from the pier and mostly away from the loud bars. On Phi Phi, since you are not doing much in your room besides sleeping, what is there to complain about? -

Everything....Staff barely spoke english but kinda understood very basic like thanks, clean, hello...but not really any problem at all....its and island so not like u shud expect a red carpet w roses and guarantees everything to be awesome....know what you like and need during your vacation on this island and you will find yourselves enjoying and relaxing during your stay....
