The hotel is so beautiful. We barely wanted to leave it. The rooms are so nice. Not all that big, but they’ve got everything you want, with a very tropical feel to them. The rooms have balconies that over look to pools. We had a standard room. The Pool Access rooms looked great, but not all that private. All of the rooms even had umbrellas for when it rained. Having stayed in Patong at many different hotels, this hotel was suggested to us by our Travel Agent - thanks Kelly - and we were not disappointed by her choice. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. One thing that was the same in all the hotels in Patong was the weak shower pressure and luke warm hot water, but not this hotel. Two fantastic pool areas are complimented by swim-up bars with very friendly staff. The hotel's location is smack in the middle of Patong Beach, so it is within reach - Riaz

We enjoyed our stay at Banthai. We had an issue with the room booked but were able to stay in an upgraded Pool Access room for our first night at no extra charge and moved out the next day when our room was available. I also appreciated the lovely cold drink and airconditioned area we were taken to while the reception staff were sorting out the room. The hotel is in a great location set inside a secure area minutes away from Beach Road. It was roughly 10 minutes to walk to Bangla Road very in - Amy
