I stayed in this hotel and I spent the best holidays I can remember recently. My friend live in north Thailand in a small village and he told me to come and stay here, so that we meet together. He comes often here for short holiday and he cannot give me a better advise. Maybe there are other very nice places to stay for the same price, but for me this was very nice. I don't want to say that is the best because this is my opinion. But my relation of this hotel is that it is very cheap, very well.

We feel safe and at ease here an we don't expect any better. We do come time to time in Patong and I think next time it will be again Anchalee Inn. We really had enough of expensive impersonal resorts with artificial smiles and compulsory tips and fees. We had instead an energizing breath of fresh air at this joyful small family run hotel. Do not expect anything luxurious, as you should know it already by the guest-house-like price you pay, but do expect a comfortable and well serviced room with good standard cleaning and very good position. The restaurant in the hotel is the best in the area. Everything they have put it on their website,one can find 100% there,staff as well as the head-Mr. Mac are very CO-OPERATIVE,one should book the hotel without hesitation and very centrally located,stayed their for four nights......i like the place very much,&love to visit phuket and would prefer to stay at anchalee inn......Best wishes....DEEPAK Chopra,india. This is the second time I have stayed at Anchalee Inn and would recommend it to anybody, however there is a small walk to Bangla Rd if you are after the night life, but quiet if you want to experience Patong at its best. Nothing----everything is fer fectly in place and got/found more than expected. only one thing- the inability to dial-out from my hotel room I.E. ring internationally. Interior room was protected from street noise, but no windows. Nothing worth mentioning. Not much really, its a little dated, but, thats being picky, awesome value for money. Nothing. The shower leaked water all over the floor. Although there was an AC unit, there was poor ventilation in the room. Sometimes too much street noise at night, otherwise our stay was pretty good. A bit far from night life, elevator did not work. Room had a lot of humidity smell, probably because it had no window. Small rooms, a bit over-priced. Rooms were humid and slightly musty. Air conditioning was really poor adding to the humidity and lack of air in rooms. had room with no window? lift still did not work although I did read this problem had happened before but thought it would be fixed by the time we arrived but the sign had been there a long time. The bathroom smell very bad especially in the morning. Nothing! Excellent price and they give you everything you need for a comfortable stay!. Beds sheets smell, room smelt. Food ok but dear, cheaper up road and better. TV didn't work. It was cheap but I would recommend paying little bit more and going else where. One thing I like is clean bed that don't smell musky.
