  Good location, very close to railway station, close to nice restaurants in chinatown. Wifi is ok but it is only in the coffee shop, but you don't have to order to use it (but then you miss the excellent rice soup). The room was big with a view over chinatown, the bed was good. Every morning I was met with smiles and a greeting at times I wish I could have spoken thai language but again I still felt welcome and I will be recommending this place to any of my friends who travel to bangkok

  Right near a BTS station which is a must for getting around... literally 5 mins away. Lots to see and do near, with it being so near BTS so easy to get around... Taxi's will take you by the meter to places as where near khaosan they won't do that... If you're staying with friends... our hotel had a massive window from the bedroom where you could ... what people say » see the bath/shower! There is a screen to pull down but we didn't realise at 1st... as a couple its OK but for friends it could be a bit :-/ ... lol. - The location gives perfect access to both Skytrain and MRT. It is literally around the corner from the busy Asoke intersection, but the hotel is located in a quiet subsoi of Sukhumvit Soi 18. The staff of this hotel is excellent. Staying here is like coming home.

  Great staff. The room has multiple locked drawers, refrigerator, how water heater, dishes, and tv / Internet. I accidentally took their keys, and they were very polite about it. I arranged to mail them back, and they were friendly and understanding throughout.   Malaysia used to be a backpacker or old Asia hands and partly "specialised clientele" kind of hotel. I lived in the neighborhood for 8 years and only went to use their fax machine. Back in BKK for a few days, and reading how the newest, modern facilities in Si Bamphen were quickly deteriorating, I was intrigued by some recent good comments about ... what people say » the Malaysia. There were right. Malaysia has retained some of it's "old Asia hand" customers, but is now also booked by families and groups of young - Friendly and efficient reception staff. Good security. Homely feel...wonderfully 1960s ambience and a nice location within easy reach of Silom, the park etc but not too "in the midst of it all" .

It's very convenient to buy anything from 7-11 store placed closely. Service - We spoke English but experienced no problem getting around. The front desk was helpful, regardless of the time of day or night. We were a couple, staying in a windowless room, but experienced no problem - The hotel is new. Rooms are well furnished, large and very clean. Breakfast is rich, with many coiches, both western and thai, and breakfast room has a nice view from the 12th floor. Wifi is good. Position is perfect, near central station and chinatown, with restaurants and supermarket close to the hotel. English speaking staff is very kind and will help you with anything.
