This hotel is awesome! Yes, there are a lot of steps to climb but if you are in fairly good shape it won't be a problem and the view is worth it! The hotel breakfast is wonderful and displays a wide variety of choices. The pool is a good size and we never had a problem finding a place to lounge either in the sun or shade. The hotel itself is set up on a hillside about a 5-10 min walk to the beach. The staff was amazing and housekeeping made our room up spotlessly every day. We loved our s.

Service mind. they forgot to give us our breakfast box for early leaving. Some mold on the ceiling. Sometimes the towels in the bathroom had stains on them but they were changed on request. They had a dirty bed sheet, once we chech out, they told us to pay 900 bhat for it or 200baht to wash it. Which was unacceptable. Also, not good food in area for msulims. Very warm water in the pool. the 100 plus steps from street to room. lack of flexibility from staff - not able to make a decision to close issues. not at this price. Staff tried to overcharge me for a double bed even though it was included in the price of my booking (it was fixed by the manager the following day). Furniture a bit old and ''chinese'' shower with no separation from the toilet. The smell in my room was not nice probably because of old pillows, blanket and bed. The shower curtain was horrible. The breakfast was poor. Very steep climb with small children No wi-fi... catastrophic!. Front should be a Thai.

Orchidacea Resort offers a free daily shuttle service to Kata Beach at 09:00, 11:00 and 14:00 hrs. Please note that the name of the credit card holder must be the same as the guest's name and credit card must be presented to the property upon check-in. If the credit card does not belong to the guest, an authorization letter from the credit card owner is needed. Please be informed that the credit card will be verified by the property upon check-in by charging THB 1 and this will be refunded back the card on the same day. Please note that the lobby, restaurant and swimming pool are undergoing renovations from 1 May to 31 August 2018 between 09:00 and 18:00 hrs.
