We loved to stay at Laksa Subha, The Staff was very friendly and the owner was also very friendly and invited us in to her home. It was a very good location right at the beach, with a nice pool right next to the beach. It was close to restaurants, shopping, massage, night life.. The breakfast was excellent and the staff that made us eggs in the morning could very fast remember us, and knew how we liked the eggs. all reviews » Very spacious, clean accommodation within a beautiful setting. It has it's own beach area and separate pool and we did not have a problem at any time getting sunbeds and towels for the 3 of us. The hotel is within a few minutes walk of the town shops, restaurants and bars yet is very quiet. Highly recommended. the location was fantastic and some of the staff were terrific. It's a very beautiful hotel, but the cheapest rooms on offer from bookings.com look out on a piece of concrete 10 feet from the room and the rains caused the bathroom to smell of drains..the room itself was nicely done and attractive. The location close to Resturants, shops, great foot & Thai massage businesses Taylors and of course the wonderful Hua Hin beach. The breakfast menu the staff could-not do enough for us. The garden sculptures and the lighting very relaxing walking to our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everybody stayed at the beach so it was like having our own private pool. Nothing. some of the restaurant staff were completely inattentive and would rather chat to each other than serve a customer. I lost count of the number of times i had to ask for things twice. We had a little bit of trouble booking out and paying the bill. A new girl was on her own at the desk. She had to have four or five trys at getting the visa card machine to work a bit embarrising. But I am sure this will have been recitfied by now. If pressed, I'd say the gecko that ran into my shower instead of out of it when I needed to get in. The tiny ants that would invade if the smallest bit of food or beverage was spilled, but that's unavoidable in such hot climates. Pool are rather small. Staying there only for one night! It should be longer!!! :))))). not the cleanest beach. Small and simple room, not well furnished - not valued for money if just considering the room itself. There is 1 thing, good frends from us also stayed in huahin, in a diverend hotel, and there was no way something to manage for them to visit us by the swimmingpool or bar ect ect!!!!!. my room did not have a fly screen, but since I am used to sleep with open windows, I needed a room with fly screens...finally they found one but I had to pay 1500 Baht per night ($50) more per night...since my stay was off season and the hotel for away from being full, they could have given me a free upgrade, because I did not need a bigger or nicer room....just fly screen windows! I traveled all over the world, but never had such a problem. N/A. I've an upgrade from normal studio to studio with bathtub ... it should be good but if i was there with my friend so it's a little bit awkward because there's no door between bathroom restroom and bed T_T. It is far from the shopping centre. It is difficult to get food for muslims or similar to arabic food. No activities near the hotel to enjoy your time. Don't book the Tamarind rooms. They are basically a backpacker set up. For the price, should be better. The website pics are misleading. the fact that it looked a bit rundown lots of ants in the room. Bad parking space. Decor in rooms. Chalet rooms were bare concrete and lacked finishing details. lack of sunbeds.
