Excellent hotel. I think it is quite new. Has the feel of private rather than corporate ownership because extra money spent by the owners has create beauty rather than just utility; furniture, fittings, decoration. Its evident everywhere. Congratulations too to the manager. The staff are delightful, attentive but not suffocating. Expensive relative to other available accommodation but if you intend spending a day or two relaxing around the hotel during your stay in Chiang Mai it's a well locate.

The Staff, our room, the pool, food, quiet &convenient location. great gym although we didn't use it. The guest lounge area is gorgeous. Dash restaurant (out the back entrance, turn left, right next door) is a bonus. This is by far the best hotel experience I have ever had! My husband & I travel frequently and have stayed in hundreds of 3 & 4 star hotels. Kodchasri exceeded all of our expectations. We did not want to leave. I thought the hotel was very nice. I loved all the Thai carvings,pool, and area to read, relax or use computer. Breakfast was perfect. The staff very friendly. I will defiantly stay at the Kodchasri again!. the hotel restrurant provide good traditional thai food. the room is nice and clean the location is great, can walk to many place hotel provide free bike which is a vantage red module very beauiful. The location is perfect! In the old town so you can walk/bike anywhere. The pool is fantastic. Free bikes were a nice touch! The poolside terrace was especially nice for breakfast. Great breakfast. Decor, clean, location, pool, quick internet, friendly staff,. Room was comfortable. The smell in the reception area. Sort out the drains! It would deter anyone who had not pre-booked. - Probably, to include more English channels on TV, especially ones that cater for children. - Mosquitos around at the pool bar when the sun goes down (apply repellant!). Liked it all. My only complant was not enough places to store your clothes in room, need more dressers. We prefer not to live out of our suit cases. Bed was a little too firm for me. there is a band playing every night, even there is only 1 table of people, the live band for that size of restruant is not neccerssary, it is not noisy, and end early, but it is some kind of waste. There was nothing to complain about...I am glad I am not allergic or have a dislike for cats. There are quite a few that live here!. Wifi. Why the user name password? Everybody uses wifi nowadays. And the password, are we launchin ballistic missiles? No! We're using wifi, it could be a two number password. Not a Swiss bank access number . Owners really need to make all aspects of our stay easy. Maybe the location could be a little more central but really nothing else it is absolutly lovely hotel. Maybe furniture look old but in general it was more that excellent. nothing really... Wifi weak in room. Nothing to complaint. Breakfast a little disappointing and many dishes cold. The music during breakfast... Food is not good enough. Could not fault our stay. The work out room is not a work out room!!. nothing. Wifi just not reliable (very annoying !) The green carpet/plastic lawn around the pool and on the dining terrace. The iron chairs in dining room. None. Small gym Location it's far away from the night bazaar not 10 minutes. the location is far from the city center some staff is not good. Lack of storage space, poor mini bar, temperature of shower varies, lack of pool side loungers/bar staff, almost no enlist language tv channels, mosquitoes in room, room service plates not removed after 24 hours,. Staffs had no service mind, especially the one in front of hotel.
