+the right place for an overnight in Chiang Khong: cheap, basic and simple +easy to find, right behind the property's cafè on the main (and only) street, just where Google Maps indicates. Coming by bus from Chiang Mai/Rai don't take the tuk tuk -if you are not to heavily packed: it's just a 15' walk along the main road, 2-300m past the 7-11 on the right. cute little rooms, and liked Chiang Khong a lot.
