The locations and the facilities are really the best about this hotel. Easy to get a taxi or bts for everywhere you want to go. For going back also is easy to find a taxi who deal to take you there and this is really important in Bangkok cause if you are in Bangkok for the first time you should to know, not always the taxi bring you where you want to go. They just choose where they want to deal taking you or not. Always because the traffic jam. The staffs are very kind and helpful. It's a fair .
all reviews » The staff was ready to face off our requests and to help us solve problems. The hotel is in the best position to visit the city because it's really near the skytrain. There are also 2 minimart in the surroundings and a travel agency just in front of the entrance. That's all you need for your stay in Bangkok. It's the second time for us to stay in this hotel and we enjoy it becuase it's really cheap for his category and position. Up market hotel, friendly staff. Special recognition to reception stsff, particularly ta guy, a bit gay, but a bloody great bloke and couldn't do enough for us. Good size rooms, bed comfortable and other facilities yo suit all guests. Hotel management take time out to ensure all was good. Most definately stay there again and again. Central to a lot of entertainment venues, soi cowboy etc. location was good, I think it was a nice location, first experience of BKK. Not far from Asoke BTS. I think Hotel was good value for money for size and location. The had a smoking room reserved, even due I had booked a non smoking room. Booked and paid in advance. After complaining, they changed the booking and supplied a room according to specification. I had a great time during my stay at Windsor Suites Bangkok the staff was completly efficient during check in and check out. They are able to speak a clear English and they gave me many goods tips about restaurants around the hotel. The hotel is located just 2 min from skytrain station and 4 min from the subway station, it was the best part at all!!!. Frankly speaking considering the price I just expected a nice and clean room but to my surprise it was a very spacey suite on the 21 floor with all amenities someone expects. Staff has been very friendly from the bellboy to the reception and parking was easy really in front of the hotel. Coming back is really an option. It was very convenient for our needs and at a good price. The pool was an added attraction. We actually had a suite with 2 single beds for about $60/night. It was unbelievably quiet (we were on the 4th floor) with none of the noise usually seen in hotels with doors banging at all times of the day and night etc. Reception area with bar was lovely Great air con...needed in Bk! Quick wifi Good location...about 300 metres from Asok bts and lots of good bars and restaurants around (though we preferred to walk a little further up to Soi 11...basically expatville!. The luggage storage facility - checked out and flew to Chiang Mai and I was allowed to store by backpack which really save me from a lot of hassles. Complementary fruit platter, water and almost anything that you can have for a 4 stars hotel. I had a huge suite, much larger than expected. Beautiful view of the city and pool from the 21st floor. Great German bakery opposite front entry serves an excellent breakfast. a great swimming pool on floor 14, although pool bar expensive. security minded, the councellor suite is a lovely room with a seperate sitting area. Our room was in the garden wing, not as nice as the ones on the website...quite a lot of noisy American volunteer workers (teenagers) on our corridor. The staff are not really that knowledgeable - requested for my wifi access code but refused it until I read the lines in my booking confirmation that its free and it took a while for them to give it to me that I have to call again and again until I went down to the reception. The fitness center was old and outdated. Who ever this "Hatch" guy is who puts his name on it should be ashamed of himself. I would take my name off of it immediately. Front desk staff is not well trained and runs in circles when asked to check out. All their heads are down and not focused in the customer. They should be looking up and greeting customers. Any "side" work should be done away from the desk. Taxi service could be improved - to order metered taxi by the time client needs it not to start catching different taxis from the street who ask triple price. WiFi Internet password access procedure is totally archaic & keeps expiring - it's 2013!! Breakfast food selection & taste is terrible - we are in Bangkok, home of great food!. High cost of drinks in the foyer lounge area, as a result this lovely area was poorly utilised. Specifically booked a double bed in non smoking room but they tried to palm me off with a smoking room with two single beds, so after I told them I would report it to the tourism Thailand office they found the room I had booked but the aircon didn't work so had to be fixed can`t blame staff they have to work within parameters set by management. Spasmodic wifi. The swimming wasnt well maintain. furniture around pool needs to be renovated. The breakfast is catering for many chinese and Indian guests and is no very good quality at all.. The inconstitency of the Room Service. One day the food ordered was beyond expectation and the next day it was zilch. The boy who delivered it to my room was coughing and sick he should not have been allowed on duty. The Girl who took the order was un accomodating. They got to audit room service in house because the hotel deserves better. I look forward to booking again. Food is not worth paying for, it's not comparable to other 4 star hotels. Wifi access is limited to 1 device per person (I had a notebook and a mobile phone, but could use only notebook). Signal in my room was weak, so I had to relocate to the lobby (to Google Siam Niramit location). As soon as I put my notebook onto one of their tables (all of which were unoccupied), the staff told me either to make an order or to get lost. Kind of rude, compared to other hotels in Bangkok. To summorize, I had no good opportunity to use "free Wi-Fi" at this hotel. Still a bit pricey for the location/standard. Oud room was in a second building the suites were in the mainbuilding. Invoking room charge which was not incurred, she eventually admitted her mistake but this is irritating,. the furniture is bit outdated. internet connection was quite bad in the rooms. Minor problems with the Air-con,. No decent tv channel. ..very poor and cant even listen to news in English. Bad Internet. My wife is Thai and I am a German, I not like the security guy wind us up and ask two times for my wifes passport when we come home late. She felt treated like a prostitude.If this happens again I will never visit this nice Hotel!. We used to stay in Windsor Suites 15 years ago. The place has not changed and the rooms would definitely benefit from some renovation. cannot turn off all lights. Rooms not like the pictures promi. Poor maintenance team as slow. All fine. Good value for money.
