The apartment is a good 5 - 10 mins walk from Rachatdamri Station. There is a supermarket called Villa Market along the way so we were happy that these were located within easy walking distance. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable, clean and still very new. We got the duplex apartment, 3 large bedrooms, with 4 bathroom, bar, the kitchen was equipped with electric cooking stove, fridge, dish washer, washing machine and dryer which is a plus point because I usually like to wash my clot.
all reviews » Apartment is big and it has a cozy balcony. I rented 3 rooms apartment for 4 nights for less than SGD600. It's only $200 per room for 4 nights which is quite cheap. It's not far from major malls though not really near. Bout 15-20 mins walk. It's really near if you take a cab though. Many massage parlors nearby. This place provided us with all the comforts of a home away from home. Friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the spaciousness of the unit we stayed in - a three bedroom unit. I like the layout very much and the decor was simple and elegant. Comfort is excellent. Fantastic apartment, great facilities & heaps of room for a family. We loved staying at the Tonson Residence. We were close to everything we cold walk to the city & the sky walk. Loved having Starbucks just around the corner also. The facilities, the staff, very clean, very comfort, everything. My family really love Tonson Residence because the room really big and luxurious. The staffs are really responsive and helpful when we need a van, they booked for us. Apartment was excellent for us as a family of 6. Staff were exceptionally helpful and organised transport, fresh towels etc on request. Location is very convenient to SkyTrain, Lumphini Park but still a quiet area. Large appartment and rooms well equipped, of very good and clean quality. Well located to visit malls. a little bit more far from historical places but taxi and tuk tuk 100 m from residence..... The place is spacious. L prefer apartment, great for family bonding. Weather is super hot in Bangkok, so the aircon is great after a day shopping. This apartment is huge! Its perfect for a big group. It has two floors and the area of the place is very spacious. Highly recommended. Rooms are really huge, staffs are nice and helpful. big and comfy. suitable for big group or family. The apartment a 3 bedroom 4 bath unit was huge. Location is within a short taxi ride to malls and Siam Square area. Wifi included and one TV provided with multiple channels . I expect as business picks up, prices will go up too. They didn't clean the room during our stay. No shopping nearby and it's quite quiet at night. The water heater doesn't work very well. The temperature kept fluctuating. We found the bed a little too soft to our liking. The pillows where also too big and fluffy. The aircon compressor in the master bedroom was also making a lot of noises when switched on, waking us up a few times during the night. Nothing.. I stayed there with my parents, the location is a bit too far from the nearest BTS station which is chit lom station, my parents always wet of sweat everytime we walked to the station. Kitchen was not stocked with cooking utensils, but these would be provided if we requested. Pool (which looked excellent) is currently closed. Building site surrounds Tonson Residence on 3 sides, but does not actually cause any real disruption!!. As this a residence and not a hotel, you have to manage on your own for all meals including breakfast. Unfortunately, the equipment to cook is limited to minimum (6 forks, 6 spoon, 6 knives, 6 plates, 6 bowls and 6 coffee cup). But to cook, Nothing: no pan or equivalent equipment. After request, the residence personnel provided us One but only one pan.... The location not so convenient, need to walk 15mins to nearest bts Chidlom. Taxi not familiar with this hotel. We kind of get used to morning walk n evening walk. Lolz. Great if you are trying to lost some calories since there are many good food .around. Swimming pool is closed. Most taxi drivers do not know how to get to this place, until you show them the address in Thai. Its a slight inconvenience. Building site behind the hotel spoils the view and can be noisy, didn't affect us too much. Not enough towels for the number of guests and no kitchenware. What good is a full kitchen if you don't have any plates, silverware, pots or glasses?. Na. Nothing, everything was perfect. 8 min walk to the center sukmuvit road with hardly no sidewalk (very narrow). whaen walking with a sckoter you must go down from the sidewalk to the road since it is too narrow. the apartment is too big -poorly furniture. meaning, it feels empty. small crt tv with few chairs and no carpet . Price was fair but no one told us about the construction that was helding right outside our window. Weather is too hot to walk and location seems very far to central world under super hot sun. So we in and out with Taxi. Not very clean. Sky trains are not in a walking distance, for old folks and kids. Location bit too far from shopping places though. Dryer was not working. far from mall. Nothing. - no housekeeping. - constructions nearby. - no shower curtains resulting in wet toilets in one bedroom. - they dont allow us to use their kitchen/fitness/pool. they hide pans/pots from us -_-" - noone came to clean my room. A bit old. do not have a regular room cleaning. Need to request every time. Not enough utensils and glass for usage. Upon confirming my booking in March, I made an inquiry on whether would there be an additional charge if I were to exceed the room limit. There was no answer from the hotel staffs until August, when I arrived with my friends and was told that there will be an additional of 1000baht /night. We all felt cheated as we would have considered a different place to stay if we had known earlier. Absolutely no facilities - swimming pool advertise was closed indefinitely - despite being a service apmt - only 6 teacups, saucers and teaspoon were provided. Bathroom ensuite in two of the bathrooms overflow . plenty. they did not change any towels, not once, during the entire 5 nights stay even though we requested them to change 4 times. the staff spy on you if you bring guest overnight so that they can charge you TB 1000/person/night. the apartment only clear rubbish away but never clean the floors or tables. they also dont replace soaps or toilet rolls. this is the worst place to stay in the world! I wont stay here even if they pays me.
