Very friendlty and helpful staff. Very good value for money - room, food, drinks, spa, etc. Well located for Pat Pong, pubs & restaurants, massage parlours, supermarkets and plenty of transport facilities nearby. Met the owners (Suraya and Jay) during their twin son's birthday party and told them in person how much I was enjoying my stay. I will definitely check them out via letsbookhotel.com for my next visit as they are located within walking distance of so many amenities in a very busy a.
all reviews » Staff were friendly and helpful. We got room upgrade and half price breakfast vouchers. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Good location next to the Patpong night market and lots of places near by to eat. The room was comfortable but a little worn. The hotel was good value. It has a pool which is small but fine. Would recommend. Housekeeping was excellent. Prompt and efficient. Checking in was a breeze too as I arrived earlier to the hotel. Staff was courteous and polite and tries to accommodate to your request whenever possible. This is my 4th stay here and I will make no qualms in choosing this place again. Wifi coverage is also perfect. Location is very good , so near to shopping malls and tourist attractions. Located in gay friendly neighbour with many gay bars near by. The general appearance of the hotel was high, and this continued in the room. The bed was not very comfortable but was big and the pillows were not that nice, being very very soft as to offer no support. It is an older hotel, once a Sheraton and later a Ramada. The staff and service are excellent, it is clean and the facilities are fine. I love this hotel!. Also due to the wooden flooring, walking along the corridors towards your room maybe be noisy and due to insulation and echo, you can actually hear when people open or closes their room doors. This is rated as a 4 star hotel and I rate is lower than a 4 star hotel . The hotel's design is old. Wifi sometimes throws you out and you can only have wifi on two devices for each room. Very old fashioned but you get over that. Staff at front desk not friendly at all didn't get hello anytime I went here just a what do you want look! Drinks at pool expensive 135 baht for a small bottle of beer. My 2yo son burnt his finger on one of the lights in the lobby. These lights are very hot halogen lights, unprotected and are at a height of about 2 feet. When the incident happened, the I spoke to the staff and they just looked at me. Later that day a form was filled out by another staff member so I hope that this problems has been fixed by now. The lights were quite dim in the floors . Otherwise stay was ok. Rooms could be a little bit more modern. Wall-to-wall carpets in rooms. Everything was fine. The rooms are a little worn but they are clean and spacious. I usually see complimentary toiletries in the hotel as soon as you enter a room but I didn't. It wasn't big deal though as I always bring my own. Despite using the free Wi fi connection in the hotel my network provider still charged me for usage abroad (and yes I did check my phone settings). Nothing. We did not try any of the food however as we thought that this was a little expensive when you have hundreds of food outlets right on your doorstep. Tawana is an 80/90s style hotel, so bit 'old' but won't take it a s a real negative point, overall is real good 'grand hotel'. Wi-fi is not free. the hotel is kind of old , how ever it's exceeds my expectations . You could hear the doors of other people's rooms slamming closed all night. Nothing at all , what ever challenging circumstances faced during the day was taken away and forgotten everytime i enter the corridor of your hotel. Nothing. There was a special smell in the lobby, the bathroom was a little worn out. Only allow one keycard per room, this can be inconvienient at times. They tell me it is hotel policy, and wont budge!. people in the resepsjon was not friendly. I miss a welcomesmile and enjoy your stay. The room wasn't luxurious enough for a 4 star hotel but I guess the room at higher price may be better. Having to leave. The description of the hotel boasts its proximity to the metro that you can easily take to the airport. We just needed to know the easiest way to get to the metro station from the hotel. Everyone we asked for directions acted like we were crazy and then pushed us into taking an overpriced (and loong) taxi ride to the airport. Service at the pool was a little spotty. The pool was very chlorinated - wear your goggles!. N/a. zero. Gym needed more equipment, rowing machines, and needed to be opened earlier. Rooms starting to date a bit, carpet getting old, no stand in showers, you need to stand in the bathtub. Plastic shower curtains are a pet hate of mine. Getting a bit old and could do with a bit of a freshen up now. Just two devices are allowed for internet, if you have more (Phone, Tablet, PC) , the switching did not work always. You basically need to pick 2 and stay with the choice. No hairdryer. A little bit of a far walk from the city centre, but that means it is perfect for a little bit of a getaway!. fee for an extra guest.
