I'd recommend this friendly, cheap and clean guesthouse to the budget travellers. The location is pretty nice, in a quite soi, not far from the Kao San Road.

It was absolutely disgusting. I have stayed in some very gross hotels
in my travels around the world, but this was the worst. It wasn't
just old grime that built up over time because it is an old place. It
was very very clear that the room and the bathroom had not been even
been swept or wiped down since the last occupant (or maybe quite a few
before that).
The sheets on the beds also came off while sleeping and we both ended up on bare mattresses.
