Conveniencely to take BTS or MRT. We had a very good time at the royal Asia hotel, the service was very good and the staff was very kind. I liked that it was not far from suhkumvit, tha ac was very good.

The tuktuk shuttle service makes the action of Sukhumvit road and the Skytrain readily accessible. Soi 8 is very safe as is the entire Sukhumvit strip really. A free tuk tuk service day and night from the hotel to Nana BTS station. The rooms have a safe, if it is working. The rooms are spacious and quite good to the price, if everything is ok. Its a clean good value hotel , good location in Bangkok.If you want somewhere to rest your head at night only this is great value. 1. I liked the ambience and service. 2. The rooms are spacious. The location was quite good and you get a tuk tuk ride to the Sukumvite road which is about a 10-15 min wall away. Location: It's at the end of a Soi which opens onto Sukhumvit - there you are close to shops, restaurants, malls, transport. Location, manager gracious and extremely helpful once he got involved, security guard friendly and welcoming. Nothings only transport to the main road. The hotel key did not work like it was suppose to, did not like offer of taxi to airport for 500 bht with no meter when it is actually cheaper, hot water was not that very hot. The jacuzzi was broken. Roaches and loud housekeepers. hotel is tired in need of renovation. smell. Things that are broken or not working - broken bed springs, TV not working, safe that didn't work, no hot water at basin. The hotel is a bit run down. It's obvious that it lacks maintenance. Can be problems with the door key, the electricity, the hot water, the TV, the air condition and so forth, but if so, you will get a new room. Very poor internet wi fi in rooms . tvs very old with little choice of tv stations and poor aerial connections . hotness of showers are a lotter depending on which room you get , believe me i have been in most of them in the last 4 years !. 1. there were so baby coachroaches in my room (418). 2. provide additional pillows for free(only 2 pillow for a double bed). 3. Improve the swimming pool section. The tub in my room was old and need to be change. It was not a 5 minute walk more like 15 minute. You're on holiday and don't walk as fast as you're going to work. Thank god the free tuktuk drop off. Had booked a room with breakfast but their restaurant was under renovation so no breakfast was given. However they refund 300 baht. There was dampness in the room. They're supposed to have free tuk tuk service to main road but when I arrived from airport to nana station with my luggage and called them up for tuk tuk they refused to send it. Couldn't understand why. to far from the beach. old hotel, not removed. rooms are old and run down. I didn't like the cockroaches in my bed , room and shower or the ants climbing in to my washing kit. Also the noise of the AC was like a old truck! And the tv was post Second World War . Plus the fridge was hot inside. The staff weren't very friendly, there was no wifi on the room as advertised. There were small cockroaches in our bathroom. The tv didn't work (not that we wanted to watch it ). The tea and coffee in the room isn't complementary which I have never seen in any other hotel. To small room for that price,poor breakfast,and no beach only rocks and even they don,t let u go into the sea. 1. Cockroaches running around in my room & bathroom. 2. The pin socket only had the old 2 pins plug. I think they should at least have adapters to borrow. 3. When I asked to borrow some plate & cutlery to eat in my room, they told me they didn't have any!. Facility need to upgrade it. Especially shower no hot water. Cleanliness, bed sheets were too dirty, bathroom was not clean (dirty type). Dated, a bit far from the main road meaning taxi drivers try to force yor hand over a fare rather than set the metre. Old hotel,but com per with the rate it is fair. holes in the ceiling, water on the floor as swimming pool was leaking. the room was was too expensive for what it was toilet seat broken air conditioner did'nt work hot water heater did'nt work. this room should have been 200baht anight at the most... Most things. I was put in a room where the air conditioning did NOT work, the hot water did NOT work, the TV reception was lousy and I killed 8 cockroaches within one hour. They transferred me to another room which did have working Air Con, it did have hot water (although it was permanently leaking down the wall). The TV reception was still lousy, wifi came and went, and the cockroaches continued to come!. Dirty, a/c didn't work upon check in. Solution was to separate the family on our first night in Thailand. It did not feel safe. The front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. Advertises restaurant and we paid extra for breakfast, upon check-in were told the restaurant was closed indefinitely and there would be no breakfast. They refunded the money but it infringed upon how we planned our time. The manager of the hotel and staff. Very poor condition of the room.Bed was really uncomfortable and bugs in the room . Bathroom was just as bad. I had constant problems with the rooms; holes in the ceiling, leaking swimming pool, things not working.
