I stayed in this Hotel each time with my family when we come to Bangkok for shopping. My mother and girlfriend like the shopping malls and markets, what can I say. A time ago the room furniture and flooring was worn out but clean so at that time I didn't mind about that. Since a few years they refurbish all the rooms of the Hotel so the rooms looks pretty good now. It's a Hotel with very cheap rates for the rooms and facilities. Great Hotel for that price! We booked this hotel before our trip, we were curious because there were good and bad reviews. We booked it by Greenwoodtravel for only 33 euro a night, inclusive breakfast. When we came back in Bangkok after a 3 week trip we booked this hotel again, both times we got a free upgrade, the first time even a room with seperatie living room, kitchen and bathroom, big!! The hotelrooms are clean, breakfast is perfect, and the people are very friendly!! The food in the pool - Iain

Plus: The swimming pool was the best. Rooms were tired but clean. Corridors and access way to rooms were used for functions and dining. No restaurants in nearby although you can buy fresh fruit from vendors nearby. Negative: It's far from being "perfectly located in the governmental and commercial heartland of downtown Bangkok". Do not be scammed by Tuk Tuk or any other driver offering to take you to restaurants - they will take you to an expensive one and no doubt get commissioned. - Mary
