Perfect location, supportive staff and facilities, clean and convenient room, best price/value. 1) Location - hotel is just 3 min walk from Central train station, but located in quiet quarter. The name of hotel (At One In Hualampong) is confused with @Hualampong hostel which located in buzzy front of the train station, so please check the map first. Central train station seems more convenient place for one-day traveller to crowded Bangkok, than well advertised KhaoSan. 2) Staff was super friend.
all reviews » Staff were very helpful and patient. We arrived at 5am and were checked in and escorted to our room even though check in is not until 10am. Air conditioning was amazing, very comfortable room, good shower. Breakfast area and library set up gave it a homely feel, opposed to a cold, dingy breakfast nook. Hotel is a 5min walk from Bangkok Train Station which is handy when taking the 05:55 train to the Cambodian Border!. I have stayed at At One Inn several times now and have been extremely pleased everytime. The staff are happy, polite and always willing to go that extra mile for you. Rooms are quite spacious, with good showers and big comfortable beds. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It is only a few blocks from the train station, an easy walk. It is down two alleys and can be hard to find at night (for the first time), and some better signage would be welcome. The room was clean and modern. There was a public computer and a small breakfast area. We stayed here on a short stop-over in Bangkok before taking the train to Southern Thailand. If you need to be at Hualamphong Train station the next day, this hotel is at a good location and great value for money. Rooms are clean and have good facilities. The hotel is fairly close to Hua Lamphong train station, so great for catching an early train. We really liked the rooms, which were simple but clean and comfortable. Good shower, and free bananas & coffee available downstairs. One can walk from the Hualampong Train Station to this hotel. It's in a little street like a cup-de-sac. There is no street name, not so easy to find, there is not a hotel sign in the main street. The facility for budget hotel is quiet satisfying, near mrt station, friendly staffs although most of them dont speak english, fair breakfast set, got cleaned everyday and change towel. The location is really good, five minute walking to the hualampong station, and ten minutes from chinatown room was very clean and confortable and good rapport quality/price. Staff was extremely helpful, asked every time where were we going and explained the bus routes to the details. Super clean and super quiet place with reasonable prices. The room was clean, and air-conditioned (important in Bangkok where it is hot and humid all-year-round), and while it was a little 'dated' the shower worked well and the bed was comfortable. Unless you want/need luxury, this place is fine. very close to Hualampong trainstation, (Korean) staff is cool but efficient, accomodation is basic, but everything is clean and in good working order, good security policy, relatively quiet considering the location. the room quite clean ,tidy, comfort bed, the hotel have elevator which is make guest easier to carry the luggage to upstairs. Location next to Hualampong station. The price. nice pictures on the wall ... Taxi drivers confuse name of hotel with similarly named hotel in front of train station, so bring printed map with you,. Not the easiest hotel to find, as quite hidden away on a back street alley. Staff (even though very efficient) were often sleeping behind the desk or in the reception area, slightly awkward when coming or going at irregular hours. Cable tv channels are very limited. Only 2 English speaking channels, and the tv guide in the room is completely wrong. Apart from that, it's a perfect little hotel. We arrived late and the staff that was present at that time did not speak English that well. Check in took forever (over an hour), and other than the train station, the location is not that exciting. The stuff don't speak any english. Wasn't easy to make them understand I need a taxi to the airport. The tic-tuc drivers don't know where it is even if you show the paper with the descriptions you get on the hotel. No extra mineral water, location is a lil bit hidden in the alley but the best around i guess. Nothing, this was the best hotel in Thailand in all 2 months of travelling. nothing really. Location not the best though. Can be a bit hard to find. A lot of taxi and tuk-tuk drivers don't know where it is. Also, apart from the close proximity to the Hua Lumphong metro station, there really isn't much else in the area - restaurants, bars, etc. If that is what you're after, I would stay closer to the Khao San area. Room is small and the place for shower is really tiny. Quite difficult to find. The hotel is also called "at one inn" not at one in hualampong. It was a bit hard for taxi drivers to find without a print out map. A little difficult for taxi driver to reach. The staff spoke no English, which wasn't a terrible problem but they didn't get even basic requests (i.e. for a map). The TV didn't work (but there are few English channels anyway). Don't have breakfast here - at TB80 it is overpriced (at $3... did I just say that?) and there are better options close by. Almost impossible to find the first time, hidden in an alley (imho it is best to take a taxi and show the adress on the booking form), no fridge in the room. Quite hard to find this hostel, not recommended for guest who will arrived at night, limited for mineral water, hostel just give free 2 bottle mineral water. The staff did not speak a word of English. However they smiled all the time :). breakfast could do with more imagination. This time air conditioning a bit noisy but effective. None spoke English in the staff except manager and she was only there at check in. Air conditioning was really bad, only place that gave me world's biggest cold and sleepless nights coughing. hotels location is in a industrial alley, you won't sleep longer than 0800. Location is near to the Bangkok central but it is located inside of the small streets and not very easy to find, and the local driver didn't know the place. The location is not great. We booked it because we wanted to stay near the railway station but ended up walking for quiet a while through busy streets (and construction sites) until we found the hotel. Not great. Staff didn't know English. Hotel haven't service to call taxi (except to the airport - it has). They haven't dish which they declare in menu. Bad showers, close to hua lamphong but in an area with a dumpster (smelly), staff don't speak English very well. Difficult to find. Not a lot of restaurants in the area. - The same cold breakfast every day - staff doesn't speak English at all, pretty unfriendly - place very hard to find (problems with taxidrivers) - very small rooms, without the closet (standard room) - unpleasant and smelly neighborhood. Very hard to find. . Staff was not friendly at all! . make sure to have a map to the hotel from the railway station. Taxi/tuktuk drivers at the railway station don't know where the hotel is (it's very close, 5 mins walk). Mould on the shower curtain; Like of assistance from staff (did not give directions to the train station just said it's 5minutes away'); Also it was not 24 reception as advertised and I was not advised of the getting in and out procedure after hours. Location was also bad, a taxi driver and 2 tuk tuk drivers did not know where it was, one tuk tuk driver finally found it, dark alley for a solo traveller I would not recommend. unfriendly service on desk! room whitout window ! hard to find for taxi driver ! already two months traveling in Asia, but this is the first time I had experienced ! NOT recommended for any money !.
