The resort was great and would def recommend! it was a lovely location right on Ban Tai beach - great for chilling and relaxing. It was also perfect if you're going to the half moon party in Ban Tai jungle (about 10 mins taxi). The pool looked nice although we didn't go in it and the restaurant food was decent too. The bungalows were a good size and pleasant! The beach bar was good at night where it was easy to socialise with other people staying in the resort! We even got the taxi all together.
all reviews » We had a lovely beachside cabin, with a comfortable bed and en suite bathroom. Some comments say it's an "outdoor" bathroom, which admittedly it is, but it has walls built around it and it is private and it's attached to the room, so not a problem at all! The food was delicious! And there were no restrictions on timing of food. Really nice pool!!!. We arrived for Songkran when it should have been shut. Loved it that no- one was there. Adam is a great manager (who took the guests on the back of the truck for the Songkran experience). Facilities of beach mats/comfy cushions on decks, towels etc are all great. Food good and cheap. Very clean pool. I stayed here only one night by myself in a deluxe hut. The room was spacious and well designed. The beach was very clean and beautiful. The pool was also very clean and big though I didn't get the chance to use it. Lovely, friendly & accomodating staff. Beach bungalow was literally on the sand. Very relaxed atmosphere, quiet beach. Excellent food. Lovely new pool. Wished we'd stayed longer!. Pleasant surprise to be right on the beach front! Hammocks and sun loungers were available and the view was Gorgeous! Perfect place to chill out and watch the sunset!. My idea of paradise as a kite surfer. School/rental gear on their beach. Great staff, food, location. Resort kept very well by the owners, and the bar by Adam. Adam was great. Very helpful and a nice bloke. Location was great for the Half Moon party. The pool and beach view was amazing! The food was good and the rooms were clean. Private beach was amaing and so was the view. Sad to leave. Well run well organised well situated professional. Great staff, beautiful beaches. Clean and colorful territorry. The huts were basic but clean and comfortable. The location is superb, right on the beach with comfy hammocks to relax in. The owner was very helpful and resolved any issues we brought to his attention immediately. The food was great. bungalows nice, basic and seemed secure. bar staff very friendly and a pool. restaurant environment relaxing. Adam the English staff member was a wealth of knowledge about the area and made a great cocktail!. nothing. The area just outside the resort is a bit quiet and there's not a big selection of restaurants/bars and shops. Only thing lacking was a fridge in the room, would have been nice to be able to keep water there. Don't stay here if you want a "beach" break, as the water was only 30cm deep for as long as I could see. Would be a totally different experience at Full Moon time. We had my mother with us and even for us (in our mid 30s) it would have been too much by what Adam described and the ages of the guests turning up as we left. Check the party schedule and pick carefully: great if you want it to party. cold water showers only. Beds a bit hard for me, but this is not real criticism, just feedback. The snorkel equipment we got from the hotel didn't work and at times it was difficult to find a staff member. Everyone left after the full moon party. Rooms were small with low functioning AC. If you are living close to reception and bar the loud music may not allow you to sleep well. no free breakfast as advertised. Staff were not particularly helpful or friendly. quite far from main road, which wasn't lit at night. the maintenance of the rooms could have been better. Sea was a bit too shallow for swimming. We booked a beach front bungalow and it was amazing. The only thing that disturbed us that the sound levels of beach bar was very disturbing when we went to sleep.
