The staff was very helpful & accomodating especially Mr. Lee who gave us extra bottled water while waiting for our room to be cleaned. Clear reception of tv channels.Near to shopping center & ximen station.Along the street & easy to locate. Location. Not far from Taipei center. Also a lot of shopping places are in step availability to Ximen hotel. Good cleaning every day. Very good price/options/location rate.

Renovated and clean inside, close to all local shopping etc, and walking distance to Taipei station. Friendly staff, comfortable bed and good housekeeping!. Not far from Ximen mrt exit 6. Little bit far from MRT station but still good location. Considering low price, here might be best option. Convenient store located just across the street, Room has universal plug,and 110v both. No need to bring adoptor. Ximending street is just a minute away, looks safe in the late night. The location was great. Short walk to Ximen station and right next to the Ximending shopping area. Free wifi （though you have to ask for the password）. The guy at the reception was friendly and helpful. Spacious enough for 2 person. Close to Ximending and ximen station exit 6. Good for budget travelers who just want a place to crash for the night after a day or sightseeing. The location is extremely good. Easy to find, despite the hotel is on the 4 floor. The security seem to be quite good as it have very big steel main door. very close to ximending shopping district, eatery and mrt. The location is closed to XiMenTing. Staff is friendly. The hotel loceted near the crossroads, also air condition is installed with big chinks, which covered by thin paper tape. Because if it the street noice is heard very clear. The bigger problem is the own noise of air condition. So the sleeping at night was a problem. Initially I was a given a room with a different type of room with a very bad/old-looking bathroom and we requested to change to another room with a better bathroom and eventually got a satisfactory one. A slightly far away from Ximen subway station. Not much soundproof. First open room still have quite bad smoking smell. Staff can speak really short English. I called from airport, she couldn't explain how to get to hotel in English, If you're foreigner, cannot speak Mandarin, need travel information, Front desk isn't that good for the solution. On the photo, posted this homepage looks really nice but my room was just soso. Old,but not dirty. The lady at the reception had a nasty attitude and gave the impression that her time was too valuable to answer your questions. You pay for what you get :) The room has a slight smell of garbage and sewerage. Noticed it the night I checked in. There is also a plumping noise in the toliet. I think is from the water flowing system in the pipe. Room condition especially the wash room. Look old and might need some renovation. the room is a bit small, wifi signal is very very poor... The room we booked was a bit dated, smell of cigarette and a bit run down. It's ok for non-fussy traveller looking for a night stay but don't expect too much. Sparsely furniture. No cupboard just a rod with 2 hangers. Got mirror, side table, dressing table and hair dryer in room. Hair dryer can only use a while .. Then seems must "rest/recharged" for 2nd use. We tot its spoiled. Not clean. My room was on the 3rd floor and when I came out of the lift I was met by old beds and mattresses stacked in the hall. The room and the whole hotel had a bad odour. I could smell cigarette smoke in the room and the corridors and I woke each morning with a sore throat. There are far better places to stay in Taipei for the price of this hotel. filty toilet with cobwebs. The lift leading to the rooms were lined up with cartons of boxes, toilet rolls and all kinds of stuff. Health hazard. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone. If u want to get a room which look like the pic they show. Please book the most expensive room,otherwise u have to stay in a room,feel like just for people who want to have sex but home is not avaiable . also if u like smelling like ciggratte,that is the best choice. Seriously,u get what u pay for. Fair enough.but I ll never stay there again. Um. . actually, I could not stand with it so I left . However the hotel are very old...... I think too old for me .... Room especially the toilet should be cleaner. It seems to be a hourly hotel and makes me feel uncomfortable. Staff was terrible; most of them don't speak English. And they were not helpful of cancelling payment in credit card. Toilet door spoiled. Not family friendly at all. Cable has several 24/7 porn channels. Old and dirty bathroom Old key-type locks. The staff are bad, the room is small with no window, and at night you can hear people walking up and down the hall way, in the morning i thought it was earthquack when staff push the trolley pass the room!... toilet is super run down, sometimes after cleaning the room they dont have any paper, and when call them to bring it take them 2 hour to bring one toilet paper!. Everything. ... From room deco, bed, bathroom, TV, air con, wardrobe. Room smelt. Air con noisy. Room dirty. Wall dirty n stained. Bathroom old n with broken tiles. Bed linens stained n dirty. Mattress with blood stains. Door no locks. Looks more like a low cost brothel. .. Not a business hotel. The bathroom quality is very poor. Bed sheet is not clean enough. Air Condition should be cleaned.
