The Bergrestaurant Simi at Furi, located at 1800 meters above sea level, was built and opened in 1967 by Renate and Simon Biner. Today, almost 40 years later, guests still receive a hearty welcome from Renate Biner, and she still personally looks after their welfare!

In addition to authentic Swiss and Valais specialties, delicacies from the wood grill or hot stone are served daily between 11:30 am and 5 pm. Of course the typical Valais wine is always available, too!

Whether you get there on foot, skis, snowboard, snowshoes or by bike the Bergrestaurant Simi is always a good choice!

Our hotel is located in the heart of Zermatt, from where you can reach the train station, all mountain railways and lifts, as well as countless attractive shops within minutes. Yet as the hotel is located slightly off the main streets, you can still enjoy the characteristic silence of the mountains. Exceptionally large rooms make you feel at home, and our friendly hotel team is eager to fulfill your wishes.

From now on, dog owners and their pets can enjoy the beauty of Zermatt even more. This summer we have adapted our offers to the wishes of dog owners and their four-legged friends. A dog bed and a feeding bowl await the dog in the room.

One of the few four-star hotels in Zermatt, the Hotel Simi boasts exceptionally large rooms ranging between 16m² and 43m² in size, including the bathroom. Wellness showers have been fitted into some of our generous bathrooms, and some bathrooms contain an additional toilet.

Travelling information

Zermatt is a car-free village, thus guests arriving by car cannot drive right up to the hotel. You may drive as far as Täsch, where parking garages and parking lots are available. You can choose between taking the train or a taxi for the remaining distance from Täsch to Zermatt. Taking the train Shuttle trains leave Täsch for Zermatt every 20 minutes; the journey takes 12 minutes. Taking a taxi Another possibility is taking a taxi from Täsch to the taxi stand located near the Zermatt train station. The hotel staff is happy to pick you up from the train station or the taxi stand at any time between 08:00 and 20:00. You may also call the hotel from the hotel information panel at the Täsch train station.
